Hello Guys, My windows XP sp2 on a domian envorinment is not recognizing FQDN, when i ping the ip address it replies but when i ping its FQDN it doenst. This is the only terminal on my network that is doing this, when i register (ipconfig /registerDNS) it works but then when it restarts agains it doesnt work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Hello, I like to have our exchange server redundant by having a secondary exchange server. I've been reading articles and it always involves a expensive third party software. Can this be done without cost i mean having it redundant by intalling a second server then from there we'll work magic . any thread tutorial will do. thank you olocin

Are you saying your IP block is identified as spam? Can you post the NDR, so we can determine the error you recieved.

you should consider your VLANs on your network.. know if the VLAN used is port, ip, MAC base etc... the usual is port and IP.. if its IP base u'll have problems changing your ip block... also the routers for your WAN.. for its E0 is based on you LAN IP

hi Bigbrit thanks for the reply. Im sorry, maybe my question wasnt clear enough, I know the straight and cross connection. The flow of data on Exhibit A is of course continious (no interruption)regardless of whether you use cross or straight. The question lies on Exhibit B and Exhibit C. here's a scenario. if i was cabling a department using CAT5e then i got short on the cable measurement (say miss calculation on the length) instead of re-cabling the entire department i sorted in adding an extension on each cable. I will use Exhibit B or Exhibit C to extend the Cables. here's the question. Will there be an interuption or problems when packets are transmitted through that wire? Which is reliable Exhibit B or Exhibit C?

Hello everyone, we have an application that has an .cob extension (cobol i presummed), the system it was installed too crashed. we are trying to run the application but have no luck doing so. Can we run this application on a different machine? or just have to install a compiller for this file extension? need help please thank you
