no server.. i had the money so i thought having 4 gigs would b nice to have. and i'll b vista ready too. if its not a bunch of crap.. but will be forced too b/c of dx 10 and all. since ms claims xp cant do dx 10... i do host some HL2 dm matches sometimes with me and my friends so lots of ram is good too

yea i got the GA-965P-DQ6 sitting in my closet, waiting for this chip and i sold my 930 while it was still worth something.. now i cant test. and i just bought 4 gigs of OCZ 800 i dont know if any of this new stuff works yet

yea prob.. i already preordered mine.. shipping out on the 8th.. zipzoomfly is suppose to be getting them on the 7th... and theres is cheaper. 339.. if mine dont ship out b4 the 8th i m gonna order from zzf and cancel from tiger direct which is at 379 with the shippin

OO all the 64 bit less performance crap blah blah... its such a small margin you would never notice real time.. all these bench marks are useless give or take 1 2 points 3 -5 or ten. u think you would really tell the diff? i dont think so. now i m not a intel fan boy nor amd i had both systems, i continue to use intel b/c i had most of the parts already when amd was not even at ddr2 yet. besides some new stepping should fix all the nastys sooner or later. i do believe intel has made a good chip this time around. and until amd could get there watts down i am gonna stick with intel.. but i do believe intel is now on a good path and got there head out of there asses, and where going to see some good chips rolling out.. quad core will be here in a few months and i am ready for it too.. but as far and amd and intel goes, ppl have there reasons for choosing weather it be a bad experience or w/e i do like amd too though. i just have my reasons for intel. i believe they make beautiful chipsets compared to the issues i had for nvidias. i would lose a few points in FPS if it means i can just have something that works

ANyone get there hands on a Core 2 Duo E6600 yet? i been waiting and i m starting to pull my hair out... all the oems are suckin it dry.. and resellers promise every week... tigerdirect wants 359 + 19 shippin. and said are getting more tues but cant promise... and zzf has them listed u can preorder the low end model but the others still say backorder.. and the E6600 there is 339 with free ship.. i sold my 930 so now i have 4 gigs of ddr 800 and DQ6 gigabyte board just sitting here ughhh.. anyone?

Hey guys Its been awhile since i been here.. i downloaded Final a week or so ago. but never got around to asking if anyone had any similiar issues.. what i did was install. final have framework installed.. its xp pro with sp2.. extracted the iso to a folder. slip streamed ryans pack.. and media player 10.. did not remove cat files or sfc. nlited my iso.. everything went flawless.. went to install went through the text mode gets to starting windows and just freezes does not move ever.. i dunno went wrong.. anyone with similiar issues? Last_Session.ini

the reason why i went to and earlier version of nlite was b/c of that lil bug that i was having when i got to the end of the install.. saying installation failed. this was with RC5.. so i went to last stable version.. guess gonna have to wait it out when nuhi releases the next version :Update:: i always disable sfc all the time

hey guys i looked around the forums and cant seem to find anything but. i bought a new mb with a NF4 intel chipset.. i followed the install procedures from forum page. although i went back to an older version of nlite the last stable version on the front page. wut i did was downloaded ryans new pack. intergrated it with his intergrater. then i nlited my iso and intergrated the modified NF4 drivers. the nliteing went well but when i went to install windows i got this error STOP C000007B {BAD IMAGE} THE APP OR DLL \??\C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SFCFILES.DLL IS NOT A VALID WINDOWS IMAGE PLEACE CHECK THIS AGAINST YOUR INSTALLATION DISKETTE. one other question i got for u guys. when intergrating serial ata raid drivers whether is b NF4 intel or w/e do i leave oem preinstall checked if i m not using the floppy method? thanks in advance

forget windows vista.. ms is gonna rape everyone of there rights until theres a work around imma hold off. with all this digital managment crap. wanting to know wut ur playing. and all this stuff. there will prob be a hack or something later down the road. but whats the point of having blue ray and all state of the art stuff if your gonna b told how to use it. plus to have true picture quality u have to get new monitors.. for proper display

to me the best spyware blocker is too take out IE completly ever since IE is gone and i use opera and firefox i have not had a single popup spyware no nothing do urself a favor and get rid of IE best chance i ever took i dont even get a bother from the viewpoint s*** from my firewall ever since IE is gone.. member IE is built part of windows intergration so when the browser gets screwed so does the system i rather have a stand alone browser from now on.. but this is just my opinion

not only safety gotta think bout also wut kind of hardware u have if u have a p4 with HT then its a waste b/c 9x dont support HT also if u have a big hd it dont support huge drives either. i would look more if it will support the hardware u have instead of making it go to waste if u have an older pc its cool.. not like any microsoft product was more secure then nother lol IMO anyways

then how come when they bought a hub they had 1 pc connected. 2nd and the 3rd would not wanna work? but the 1st and second did.. they bought a router and everything went very well? does it have something to do with the ip's? this is were i started getting confused.. i always thought was just for building in home networks "lan" and routers were for sharing connections and ip's this is were no one was able to help me lol

def a power issue.. could have been on its way out and connecting a power hungry drive prob killed it altogether.. try gettin nother powersupply just to make sure

got a quick question for u guys maybe someone can help.. someone bought a 5 port hub to share there pc's which they were all trying to get online but could not.. b/c with a hub i believe u can only run in half duplex mode. and w/e data goes in comes out the same way correct? u would have to have some kind of central pc to distribute the data? anyways i told them to buy a router and all problems gone.. all on the internet happy.. anyways i have a 5 port ethernet switch here which is basically a smart hub.. can i share internet access with one ip address and not have a central pc to dis data??
