  1. Is that guy still screaming at those meddling kids?
  2. CAA=ca-archive-2.0.3, Browser=serpent v52.9.0-2020-11-06. Thanks. I'ill try checking the things you suggested.
  3. Could you try proxy tool 1.19? I'm getting some weird page not found error when I try downloading from caa. maybe I need to reinstall it?
  4. Does anyone know if the Classic Add-ons Archive is down or not working properly? When I try to actually connect to it to download the extension, nothing seems to happen. I can do a search and get results, but no download.
  5. Isn't the default in Android called "Browser"? As for skipping commits, ask the Linux and BSD folks (people who know what they are doing) about the subject, rather than Tobin and that bunch. Basically, under open source licenses you're not obligated to integrate commits or anything else you don't want in your work as long as you are in compliance with the license.
  6. Umm..why? Breaking it up serves no purpose other than to disrupt the train of thought about what's being discussed for the people who's invovled in it. If it was some that really didn't belong here, yeah but not for something like this. It's not worth the time and effort to bother with.
  7. Pretty much the only one who can answer that question is you, since you need to use a specific web application that requires WebRTC. Run it and see how it behaves under Serpent 55.

I haven't been able to do so for several days in New Moon or Serpent (cancels as soon as I enter it in), yet it still works in a chromium browser on my smartphone. Even setting a Chrome 80/Win10 user agent doesn't change anything. Seems to work ok with https://o.rths.ml/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.5.win32-git-20200229-6e6ffb8-uxp-ae8eb4d4c-xpmod.7z PS. Just realized, I'm using User Agent Switcher extension with it. Might want to use that to handle the user agent string.
  9. Now you see the real reason these people are so hot and pushing for RT to join their "Branding Efforts" So they can slip this kind of stuff in his and other people's work without anyone really noticing untill it's nearly too late.
  10. Which firefox/mozilla no longer seriously supports for older platforms. It's basically a Trojan Horse just like the rest of Mozilla's stuff is these days.
  11. Is Firefox or similar browsers being updated for XP,NT,Vista or older versions of say Fedora Linux? If they aren't, which they aren't, then what the hell are you talking about when you say updated versions? Somehow I don't think you're talking about RT's software here.
  12. Which are really non-existent for the most part. The only people really affected by them are dorks like you who basically spread them around with *YOUR* useage of the internet. The days of non -dorks playing the hardware/software upgradge-ratrace game people like you play is pretty much over. People are not going to trash their investments of time and money in their computers and cellphones and other equipment just to appease people like you. You really need to get a clue and a life. The reality is that people are going to keep using their old computers, software ,cellphones and other devices untill they die of hardware failure, because there's no real reason for them not to do so. I was wondering about that. Don't actually use Widevine for anything since I'm not into streaming video but was curious about it working.
  13. I think this RT's decision to make, not yours. Do us all a favor and *STOP* acting like things like this and what he does with *HIS* time is somehow something that falls to *YOU* and the crowd you hang out with to decide. It's starting to get really annoying to see.
  14. I can confirm this too. After installing Win32 https://o.rths.ml/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.5.win32-git-20200208-7ab9bf7-uxp-6c82d043a-xpmod.7z If I go to add-ons and then click on plug-ins I won't see the following listed: OpenH264 Video Codec Widevine Content Decryption Module Primetime Content Decryption Module but if I revert back to Win32 https://o.rths.ml/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.5.win32-git-20200201-2d98a15-uxp-64c8c65cf-xpmod.7z I will see them listed.
  15. What is the difference between this and 1.17.4? Does contain fixes and features that 1.17.4 doesn't?
  16. You're *NOT* making suggestions. You're browbeating him over it. There's a difference. Do I need to spell out what it is?
  17. Agree with LoneCrusader. Branding is overrated and overblown. Silly names and graphics don't break or make a product, what matters if it's good or not to begin with. All you have to do is look at the Linux "Desktop" Efforts. They had a damn good and winning one with Gnome 2. Then the "Branding Cowboys" came along and basically ruined the Gnome project and the Linux "desktop" efforts with Gnome 3 and the same sort of Fisher-Price Icons,Graphics and Mindset that we're seeing being promoted here. If Roy doesn't want to deal with this sort of garbage, he shouldn't have to. End of discussion.
