    Will every new version of the K-Meleon browser now require the creation of a new profile? Another version already what does not take over the search settings from the address bar, which is again the same as indicated here: From scratch you have to create another clean profile and set up everything from scratch, because after writing the previous version of the program loses the new version's ability to search from the bar via the duckduckgo search engine. Can't it be permanently fixed? So that every time we want to overwrite a newer version, the search capability is not lost. If it can't be permanently fixed at the moment, in which file are the user settings saved, so that with each new profile you don't have to set everything up again. And before setting up a new profile, transfer yourself the file with the settings of the old profile.
