i have successfully applied my custom theme on unattended windows xp now i want to apply custom theme on unattended windows 2k pro i cant find any uxtheme.dll file for windows 2000 then how can i apply my custom theme on windows 2k pro/server unattended plz help

no spamming intended earlier i had posted this topic wrongly in unattended windows but a member told me to post in this forum so i posting it here now sorry for double posting friends i am want to know something i have successfully completed my unattended xp cd thanks to you and all the msfn board members for helping i have a question now i am working on win2k unattended i want to know that can i replace the driver.cab file of windows 2k Pro with that of windows xp pro (as xp has better support for driver) will windows allow this change or will it be causing any error plz help also if you can give me any more information regarding unattended win2k pro/server then it will be highly appreciable

they are all in run registry but when i run regedit and go to the same registry entry i.e run i cant find anything except a default field are there any other places except the run registry if no then how can i remove these programs from startup post comments

thanks buddies for help but the problem with me is that there are some programs which are not shown in run registry but are still starting with windows i have attached the image of startup plz help

i dont know whether it has been already discussed or not but i have found a new way of playing songs at unattended installation stage there is a software called mp3 to exe Google search link http://www.google.com/search?q=mp3 to exe download Direct download link ftp://gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/micro/pc/sim...nv/mp3exe26.zip then convert the song u want to play into exe all set put the entry into the batch file or whereever , from where you want to play the song upon finish the song (the exe ) will automatically close so no need to use any taskkill though u can use it if the song is of longer duration and your installation process completes before the song's timeout put these entries in the batch file ECHO. ECHO Starting Song start %systemdrive%\install\song.exe hope u all will like my suggestion post comments

yeh i have read the post but the problem with me is that i am also having windows me and windows 2000 pro already installed on my pc in that case what shall i do. acc. to you , you are telling me that backup the old bootini and copy the new one. but what about the me and 2000's boot entries.

i am having windows me already installed on c: and i had clean installed unattended xp on d: as a result of which my pc shows dual boot menu my question is how can i reduce the bootime time automatically during installation how can rename the entry Windows XP Professional to Unattended XP in the dual boot menu to give a professional touch i have tried this command in command lines but of no use bootcfg /Timeout 5 tell me how can i make above changes i searched the msfn forums but ended up blank

hi buddies i have a problem the problem is that i am having a theme in my unattended xp called ModBlue with my custom wallpaper and screensaver. the screensaver is displayed but theme's wallpaper is not being displayed rather bliss.jp_ wallpaper is displayed i can i be able to use wallpaper which i had used in the theme i have given the correct path in the theme file which is Wallpaper=%systemdrive%\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\xp.jpg and i have also added the wallpaper in the directory mention in above line plz tell whats wrong help me plz
