i already know about reg snapshot but how to use it suppose i want to track what changes had been made to registry when i had selected autohide taskbar (default option was no auto hide ) option from taskbar properties. guide me how to make a registry file in this case.

first of tell me where u want to install xp is that c drive on your first hardisk if yes then there is no way except i had suggested to u. u have to select during the prompt. if you dont want the prompt to be displayed but want to install xp on c drive then do one thing set autopartition=1 and repartition =no and then format your c drive manually only then your windows will be installed on first drive i.e c drive because unattended setup checks for following two things 1. Free space for installation 2. No windows already installed on partition where u desired to install ur windows hope it works reply for more details . pm me

u do one thing you set autopartition=0 and repartition=no as a result of this the xp will prompt you for drive where you want to install your windows whether its on hdd 1 or hdd 2 doing this u can choose the desired partition on desired hardisk without endangering other partitions i hope this will work tell me it worked or not.

how to clear frequently access programs list (in start menu) on windows exit i want that all the programs or applications listed in frequently access programs list in left side of the start menu should be cleared or removed once i had shut down or restarted my windows xp. plz help

For sausage no buddy this entry is available in winnt.sif which allows you to automatically partition the drive (whether it is c drive or other drives )where its find space for the installation and no other windows is installed check out ref.chm in deploy tools u will get all the details regarding the same

hi friends and other members plz help me out in solving this drivers detection problem my display drivers are not detected during the setup screen but are detected after windows setup is completed and windows restart. due to which my setup screen shows only few colors and look jaggy. in this case how can i use winntbbu.dl_ file which should appear sharp and clear as in windows 32bit colors. help me out

also i had copied winntbbu.dl_ file in i386 folder but when i ran the setup i was not displayed instead the default windows screen was displayed. i can see a WINNTBBU.DLL file in i386 folder . when i copied WINNTBBU.DL_ file in i386 folder the WINNTBBU.DLL file was not replaced . now i have both the files in my i386 folder. is it ok if not then what is the difference between the both files are both files should be there to display my custom setup screen. i am having english version of windows xp pro
