OEMLOGO.BMP Logos for Download
CHANDER replied to UnderTheGun's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Would saving it as a jpg and then manually renaming it to bmp work? -
Where is your MP10Setup.exe file located?
-
If your setup file is in your Install directory then no you're not because in your batch file it says its in your Install\MediaPlayer directory...
-
Not to be rude or anything..but theres a reason that there is a Edit button on forums.... is C:\install\MediaPlayer\MP10Setup.exe the path to your setup file when your programs are copied over from the $1 folder to your systemdrive? If not, change it so it is.

switch for ctx capture card driver install?
CHANDER replied to kurt476's topic in Application Installs
Then in your winnt.sif file you can declare a path to your drivers...this way you dont have to install anything. put all of your video capture drivers in to a folder and then put that folder in $OEM$\$1\Drivers\VideoCapture and then in your winnt.sif add OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\VideoCapture" to your [unattended] heading -
Thats the idea About the batch file...you will have to change the location of the exe to where your is placed otherwise it wont run the command because it wont find the program.

Firefox installer that contains extensions
CHANDER replied to CHANDER's topic in Application Installs
I've been using the -global-extension switch the whole time and it works fine -
expand -r winntbbu.dl_ will give you the winntbbu.dll in decompressed form I think.
-
Ok thanks for all your help.

Firefox installer that contains extensions
CHANDER replied to CHANDER's topic in Application Installs
The second method wouldnt work because Program Files would require quotes around it I believe. I just scrapped the idea and left it as it was originally...a second line in my wpi wont really hurt anything -
Ok I'l take that one And I assume theres no way to get arround the variable block? cant access a key from the registry or have it download to a link that points to your homedirectory
-
Thanks for the confirmation that I wasn't just imagining things I'l get right ont the prefs editing...about the network settings, do they actually do anything? I read them in an article a while back and had implemented them but didnt really see much of a change Edit: does the pref.js file accept variables? I want my download directory to be "%homepath%\My Downloads"
-
Ya I did that every time I reinstalled firefox...
-
Meh..as I said its fixable...il download the installer again and see if it happens again.
-
But thats the messed up part..so did I. Although I only did it with the file I had already downloaded, didnt go and download it again. And I only reinstalled it about 5 or 6 times...
-
But how would only mine have that problem? Because I certainly didnt enable it...Some things you can do by accident, this isnt one of them If anyone wants to try installing through the installer I have to see whats wrong..... Firefox10_Silent_EN
-
In the Acrobat installation directory.
-
WOW you're a genius lol thats what the problem was...but why was it enabled by default for me? I had deleted the profiles directory...so the only way it would have been set was if it was set as default in the installer...but then other people would have had that problem as well... Its a bug..but its fixable
-
I'm not saying theres anything wrong with the official build...I know theres nothing wrong cause I dont get that stupid cursor but I would like to be able to do a silent install without having to worry about random cursors popping up
-
Have you looked in any of the setup.ini or install.ini or any other simlar files for any references to cdrom?
-
I'm actually thinking its something to do with the silent installer...I just did a fresh install of firefox using the real installer and I dont have that problem
-
<disclaimer>I'm sorry if this has been said before but I really didnt know how to search up on this problem</disclaimer> I installed the Firefox10_Silent_EN.exe and its a really good program Only thing is now whenever I click anywhere on the page the cursor (like word) jumps to there, I cant edit anything but its there and if I press up or down it moves the cursor as opposed to the page its really annoying
-
would the -! be a switch to now have it start on install?
-
I guess during slimming down you didnt keep a file or slimmed down a file to much
