I've got LInux computer with NFS server in kernel mode. I've installed UNIX services and now can mount NFS share with mount -u:user -p:* server:/home/user/ z: But I'm always getting read-only access, but now write access. This doesn't depend on user I use (I can use no user but still have read-only access or use root user from my Linux). From Linux machines I'm getting rw access with no problems. What should I check or do to get rw access?

Hi everyone! I've got XP Home, but I want to be able to connect to my computer using remode desktop. Does anyone know how to do it? Another problem: I want to customise quick folders if open/save dialog (on the left). In XP Pro I can do it using gpedit.msc, but in home version I haven't got group policy. So I need another way. I think, I saw a registry tweak, but can't find it now. The last problem: I need to manage file and folders permissions and sharing like in Pro version (not using "simple file sharing") but there is no tick in folder options. What should I do?

Has anybody see feature like this: I have an application made for special use. On windows XP (32 bit) it runs normal, but on x64 it says couldn't find dll. This dll is located in the same folder. I tried to put dll to system32, Windows, SysWOW64, but it still can't be found.

$OEM$ folder must be placed on the root dir on CD/DVD (with AMD64 and I386 folders). You should check your winnt.sif. There is some key that allows copying this folder to the disk.

Not all. I've tried some (but can't remenber names) that don't work on my x64 a couple of month ago.

There is strange error on my Windows2k3x64. Pack says that "C:\Windows\System32\oembios.sig couldn'n be opened. The system couldn't find the file specified." I'm sure it's there. I saw that file. Could you please help me?

Does anybody know where the list of system componnents avaible to install from CD is located? or where WIndows get the list of componnents administrator can install using Add/Remove programs ---> Windows componnents install (I don't know real English names because now I'm using Russian windows...) I need it because I want to install terminal server from 2k3 x64 to XP x64.

Jito463, yes! this is the idea... But I didn't find solution now for x64. For Win Xp x86 here is the solution http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST&f=34&t=23719 It says that U need hacked termsrv.dll to have concurent connections. But for x64 I've tried to change termsrv.dll from 2k3 to XP but it didn't help. WinXP x64 is based on 2k3 x64 core, so I think it's possible. Can anybody help me to do that?
