  1. Nope. Doesn't work in any directory. And when I /u the dll, it works fine...
  2. When I register the DWMGlass dll file (on 2 different PCs), it disables my Open Command Prompt and Open Windows PowerShell options in the Explorer File Menu. Once I unregister the dll, all works normally (on both). Anyone else notice this?
  3. do you have debug windows still coming up that you hide? mine still shows them. just uninstalled and reinstalled it again today and am getting the same results... Win 10 14393.576 v1607 aeroglass 1.5.1
  4. That's the one I have 1.5.1... still has debug windows and a watermark (with my donation key in place)
  5. I have it installed and running with the debug windows on 1607 14393.576. Is there a final release candidate for this build yet? I have read through the other topics but am beginning to become lost in this as there are so many threads regarding installation, etc. Thanks in advance.
  6. Just the interface as far as I know... it does seem to process a bit faster (or did when I was fumbling through 2 dozen documents at a time while I was in school). For day-to-day use, I honestly don't notice much different... just thought it would look cool if the whole top colored portion was glass..
  7. you shouldn't install that... just unpack 669 to C:\AeroGlass and then create a task in task scheduler to run aerohost at startup as the SYSTEM user account.
  8. My laptop shows 3 debug windows after the newest build combined with the latest windows updates while my desktop only shows one debug window with the same combo... anyone else having this issue?
  9. Cumulative updates as of 09/14/2016 make it show all 3 of the debug windows again... will these be hidden for the final build release?
  10. Any news on when the final build will be released for 14393?
  11. Just curious, will AeroGlass ever be able to be implemented with Office 2016? Unless I am mistaken, it does not work with it... or at least not for me since build 10240. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.
  12. Thanks for the heads up. I have returned that string value to empty and am editing my post for others that read it.
  13. Ok cool. Well its getting closer! Thanks.
  14. after a quick glance, it appears as though all modernframes are aero, EXCEPT for Edge... this is what I get on Edge. It is completely missing the top frame. any thoughts on what I may have done wrong now?
  15. Disregard. I was in a hurry and forgot to mention to you that this was a fresh reinstall of windows (recently) as well. I had one reg key in the wrong location and was missing one all together. I apologize, this is my first experimental build experience. Thank you for your assistance though! For others that may have this issue as well, this (from another post on this board) fixed it for me: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows] "LoadAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000001 "RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000000 "AppInit_DLLs"="C:\\AeroGlass\\ModernFrame.dll" Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows] "LoadAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000001 "RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000000 "AppInit_DLLs"="C:\\AeroGlass\\ModernFrame.dll" make that a reg file and run it. Ensure ModerFrame.dll is named just like this... *The second part (Wow6432) is only for 32bit Windows, thus is NOT required.
  16. Deleted task to run previous build. Restarted. Moved C:\AeroGlass to desktop. Extracted new build to a newly created C:\AeroGlass. Applied NoelC's theme skin again. Works as the previous build did... but Modern Apps do not have Glass. Secure is disabled. Am I missing something that must be done for Modern Apps in experimental builds? Thank you for your hard work (I do have a key for final builds, so I am a supporter).
  17. Can you make it so either the X has a red box around it (that changes with hover) or make the X red itself with the same tint change on hover? Is this one what you're looking for? I take no credit for it's creation, just a reupload from earlier in this thread... LTgiJGy.zip
  18. Here it is... not sure if anyone wants it. I used the theme from "Rounded Corners No Color" and the caption buttons from "lqytn78". Took a little bit of Photoshop modification, but overall looks decent to me. 7_Alt.zip
  19. You'll get this when the theme atlas you're using isn't compatible with the theme you're using. This can mostly be seen for theme atlases made for Windows 8 or early 10 that are applied on Windows 10 b10240. I appreciate your (and the one above yours) answer! I have been searching through this thread on and off all day, and am slowly figuring this out. I have found a good number of the PNG files that work with Layout files that I have renamed. I am going to modify the RoundedCornersNoColor to have different styled buttons (like the ones in lqytn78 and I will post the results. Thanks again for the replies!
  20. This will sound like a dumb question, but I need to know how to get these themeatlas files to work correctly. What am I missing? I have taken a screenshot of what I get when applying one. I believe it has something to do with the .layout file not being present (download was only the .png). If so, how to I create a corresponding .layout file for each themeatlas .png? Thanks.
