I have glass enabled on battery on my laptop and notice ZERO difference in battery consumption vs glass being disabled. Don't believe the MS party line about why they gutted glass from the Win 8 UI, it had nothing to do with power usage, but everything to do with tablets having crap GPU's. I have noticed ZERO difference as well, plus I enjoy having the "Full Aero Glass Experience" both way plugged or unplugged..DP On Windows Vista and 7 the aero glass turns off when running on battery. Also BigMuscle made it to switch off on battery. Must be reason for him to do it that way

Laptop I ugrade every so often. That why I got few keys. When those run out then I donate to get more. As I cannot stand having watermark and popup nags. For price he is asking is only like a grain of sand.

I donated a while ago for few keys. I never had a single problem with your Aero Glass. Never affects my Windows Updates. Im using Windows 8.1 Update 1. Keep up the good work. It hardly cost much at all just for 1 key. Don't why people saying there not able to afford the donation

I tried that before and caused it for me not able to get on to desktop kept popping up error message everytime I click ok it pop up again. Had to use windows recovery and do a system restore. It seems MrGrim has stopped supporting it

Strange that they don't appear in your Windows Update history. If you look in your Windows System Event Log however, they should be listed there with the source "NtServicePack". On the Add/Remove list it shows it there. I find out how to open Windows System Event Log and let you know what it lists in there

In total there was 56 high priority updates. 33 first time then ask to restart then there was 23 more. I can't remember what updates it was sorry. Also your updates don't appear on my update history list.

When did you donate. As that website been down for few days. Also I think the key won't work due to his site being down

I was expecting when I installed that sp4 that it included every single updates to XP end of life. I installed XP Pro SP3 on VMWare and after I installed SP4 the windows update said the was 33 high priority updates and 9 software, optional to be updated. It doesn't make sense, since you said it contains all post sp3 updates.

I agree with you dhjohns. Big Muscle would had commented by now. A week ago I donated to get 6 keys and used 1 on my laptop and now I just built a desktop and needed to use another key. I feel this is going to be abandonware and that I have wasted my money
