that's right user32.dll is not modified by xpize so i had 2 little problems in the last weeks using xpize i hope they are not generated because i used xpize - maybe someone knows 1. if i click my network places with the right mouse button and select "properties" a message appears that i can not place a shortcut here 2. if i click on an other system my computer with the right mouse button and select "manage" a message appears that the default management console can not be found - management is completely impossible - on the same system internet properties and search is also impossible i reinstalled one of them and used also xpize 3.0 and the error does not occure again - may it be that there is an update problem from xpize 2.5 to 3.0 ??? thanks yergling

i tried the way with autoit - but had no successful result the window popping up has no window title and therefor i did not get it managed to press ok button @xpero it would be nice if you can tall, where the changes of the command box are made - i do not find them *gg* the component selection is not so important components not required like screensaver and so on can be deleted by batch files and the background and theme can be changed by registry - so it is just a little work to use regshot and get the entrys if you do not like the default tings *gg*

oh if the installer is using fixed path than may it happen, that the installation in c:\program files\ will bi patched, but i am currently working on my second windows in d:\program files\ that would be horrible ?!?

hallo xpero i allready wrote a mail to you, but i post here, becouse maybe other users know the problem ok i want to install xpize silent direct after xp installation in my modded registry the restore system ist turned off so if i use XPIZE.EXE /S the silent install hangs messeging "creation of restor point failed" and i have to press ok it would be great if there is a second switch like /NORESTORE implemented in the setup if switches for the winrar and themes selection could be implemented it would be really great maybe like this "XPIZE.EXE /S /RESTORE=0 /WINRAR=1 /THEMES=0 /EXTRAS=1" thanks yergling

XPIZE 3.0 ist out ! i just tested implementation in I386 dir - seems to work great at the moment i am installing unattended using /S switch also works great so nice work yergling p.s. german forum is using xpize 3.0 !

no i meant the brand new "royale looking" files of xpize 3.0 i had read that nearly everything is together and that it will get an installer to integrate in an i386 dir of a cd or dvd or ris share so i plan to use this version at my work but i have to integrate som CI (corporate identity also) so i have everything together based on xpize 2.5 i request the xpize 3.0 sources so i do not need to use the installer - because if i use the installer, all ci changes i did to SHELL32, explorer, iexplore, MSGINA ... are gone if i install on running system i will have to rip the sources myself from running config bit i am sure that you tested (or still test) all xpize 3.0 content on an system where you can send me the sourcefiles therefor there are two ways 1. you send me all bitmap files and avi and ico .... in folders named like the files where i have to integrate them - so i can insert my CI before inserting all into the new files and compressing them to *.**_ 2. you could also send me the running files (shell32.dll) of your english or spanish or whatever test system so i will transfer everything myself to my files now to the reason: i have a project running and for all the ris templates, scripts ... i have only nearly two weeks left - and you wrote in some posts before that you finished everything except some avi files and send it to the person who creates the installer - but if installer is ready it will take a month or so - that is a bit to long i think - so it would be nice if i can get the sources or compiled files so i can integrate everything myself this weekend or one of the next two ones so what is the metter with the new xpize exactly and is it possible to get something like that ?!? thanks yergling

hallo again i just have some important questions can you send me the source files for all the stuff, becouse i need to finish an internal project for my work - and i do not know if everything is working if i integrate the xpize install version in my i386 folder - it has a lot of updates and fixes so i don't want to loose it - it will run on our company's ris in nearly 2 weeks or so - if i get the script files ready so i have to implement other logons and logos in shell32 and msgina and so on so source files will be very helpful (i got some CI in the total modded version - i asked all amployees and they said, that a special version for our company on base of xpize is cool because of most new logos - but i must insert some logon and background screens and branding features) cabbed files ar also ok, if you do that - if this is done by installer i will compile everything myself *gg* pm me if you have some time thanks yergling

this with the two way installer is a real great idea so that would fix all problems i ever had hopefully you get it managed quick

i just thougt about making an installer to get xpize onto a running windows xp system i am currently looking the installer.zip so the new bmps are just great - i allready got royale theme to my unattended installation - so it would be a nice extra *gg* ahhhh i see you used a replacer script to get the files to the system so if (far far far away) no xpice classic pack is beeing released the guys can use replacer to get the files in the running config have fun yergling
