It's so pathetic that the comments are in most cases far better than the actual articles by professional journalists (the only exception is when the article is anti-W8, then an army of babbling metrotards appears) Anyway, in a few days Microsoft has to disclose their financial numbers. Everything points to sucky W8 sales, - what will they do? Cooking up the numbers would generate some outrage. All analyst data and OS stats data would counter their numbers. On the other hand, Microsoft is *so* insane with Windows 8, I just can't imagine that they would admit defeat. Frankly, given their crazy behavior, I would rather expect some Enron-esque number cooking. What do you think?

http://www.neowin.net/news/the-idc-report-gone-astray-is-microsoft-really-at-fault#comment-2164293 Of course, no metrotard in sight commenting that post.. Well, except some lame remark by Dot Matrix, since he gets paid per word count. Meanwhile, more comedy: http://www.neowin.net/news/the-idc-report-gone-astray-is-microsoft-really-at-fault#comment-2164421 That's officially the dumbest conspiracy theory of all time.

Eightards are disintegrating by the minute: http://www.neowin.net/news/the-idc-report-gone-astray-is-microsoft-really-at-fault The comments are so pathetic, yet tense, one could think they will take a gun and kill themselves any minute. Seriously, was there EVER any positive news regarding Windows 8? It all amounts to MS says W8 is good thus W8 is good.

Pathetic bul***** from Neowin as usual: http://www.neowin.net/news/the-idc-report-gone-astray-is-microsoft-really-at-fault Metrotards are running wild & crazy! http://www.neowin.net/news/idc-pc-shipments-down-139-for-the-first-quarter-blames-windows-8#comment-2163505 You would think they have been raised in North Korea. They have no idea how a market works. Even if what this tard says would be true, fact is that these "additions" p*** many people off, and thus hobble sales. This means that these additons must be removed or made optional. Get it through your thick skull and thousands of haters like you. The only thing the haters do is cause a new XP Era but with Windows 7. - yea, so what? No one (except MS maybe) is losing any sleep over XPs longevity. Is that even an argument in any way?

What sucks for Microsoft is that the biggest FUD is directed at themselves. They apparently can't sell a Windows version without trashing the previous ones utterly and totally. I think no competitor EVER spent so much money badmouthing Windows like Microsoft itself does on a daily basis through their astroturfers. That's just not healthy in the long run. Imagine being a programmer at MS and seeing that the PR department of your own company is trashing a feature you worked on hard trashing relentlessly. Your colleagues are instructed to call your previous work "inefficient stupid garbage" and you fully well know that they will do the same in a few years to the thing you're working on right now. Pure motivation!

I am amazed that his shill-instructors are apparently still pleased him with him. Talent pool at shill-school must be pretty weak to still keep Dot on the line. I noticed that even other metrotards refer to him as "our MS employee" and such. I suspect his over the top attitude drives more people away than it converts. Thoughts?

ROFLCOPTER, Dot Matrix would rather loss his job than using XP: http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1146078-memorable-things-about-windows-xp-rip/page__p__595625898#entry595625898 I wonder whether his superiors know what he's doing? I don't think they have approved him to appear as a complete nutter. Only a matter of time before he claims to have a erotic relationship with his W8 DVD.

Metrotards once again invert the rules of the market: http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-ends-windows-xp-support-one-year-from-today-is-the-world-ready#comment-2160233 How about thank you Microsoft for making a product no one wanted? I don't know for sure, but as far as I know this poster is in bed with MS (I think I've read a post where he admitted working for them). If true, that's how the prevalent thinking is there apparently. They seem to be genuinely clueless about their own product and why one product is a success and another is not. Another gem from the same poster: http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-ends-windows-xp-support-one-year-from-today-is-the-world-ready#comment-2160235 These tards sure know how to instill aggressive feelings. I think the CIA should hire them as torture specialists. If they are this grating on the nerves over the internet, just imagine what wonders they could do in person! Dot Matrix, the chief torture master (apparently in bed, too) weighs in: http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-ends-windows-xp-support-one-year-from-today-is-the-world-ready#comment-2160115 Would you be interested in making love to it, too? Only someone who has personally seen a MS paycheck would write something like this. It's so over the top that I would not even consider it shilling anymore, they could as well wear a huge hat with a huge "I GET PAID FOR THIS"-sign on.

http://www.neowin.net/news/windows-xp-deadline-leads-to-new-windows-8-price-cut-for-businesses Windows XP deadline leads to new Windows 8 price cut for businesses This must be the first time in computing history that switching from a 12 year old OS to the new one is a downgrade. Get lost! They just don't get it. Even if metro would be truly better (ha!), calling it "modern" is insulting to customers. You're p***ing off the people who user your older system, adding one additional barrier to W8 adoption. Microsoft's sales abilities are as awesome as Al Bundy's in his shoe shop.

Well, the "Singularity" is very popular with the IT-Elite apparently. Maybe that's an additional reason why all this always-connected stuff is getting so promoted. In case you don't know what's about: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/packages/pdf/books/You-Are-Not-a-Gadget_excerpt.pdf From "You're Not a Gadget" by Jaron Lannier. So basically this: (contains Deus Ex 2 spoilers)

Another one of these masochists on Thurrott's site: Airtight logic. And everyone opposed to surveillance drones entering your house at will is a terrorist and should be sent to a re-eduction camp before he plants a bomb. "I've had to read a book for school called "1980" or something, and it was totally cool. No one is alone there, because his friends monitor him everytime through TV! LOL! I wish my TV could do that. They all speak a cool language "NewsSpeak", I like it, because it's so short and so easy! You don't have to write much to express feelings'stuff with it. Can't wait 'til all becomes reality! See ya!"
-
Thurrott: http://winsupersite.com/xbox/xbox-vnext-and-always-online What a p***-poor reasoning, he isn't even trying anymore. Most people pop up a DVD into the console and play. It doesn't become "worthless" with no connection, just some additional features (like online-play) aren't available. The bit about Roku is over-the-top retarded. A settop box needs per definition a provider. Just like a phone. Devices like phones and set-top-boxes can't provide the function that they are built for without a connection. Laws of physics. They are desperately trying to mix two completely different things: Additional features versus requirement.

I get the feeling MS wants to make it into the Guinness book of records. "Fastest loss of marketshare by a multi-billion dollar company". Any other explanations? They seem to be genuinely ecstatic about p***ing-off as much customers and developers are possible.

http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-developing-its-own-google-glass-rival-says-analyst-really Microsoft developing its own Google Glass rival, says analyst. Really? The comments are tarded as usual - "they had this stuff in the labs even before Google existed! They are not copying.." Who cares? Actually, if true, it makes it only more pathetic. What were they doing all these decades? Classic "Linux had multi-tasking before..." whining. No one gave a crap then, no one gives a crap now for the metrotard whine choir. I wonder whether MS will glassify metro now, dumbing it further down. More stuff: http://www.neowin.net/news/editorial-the-internet-in-the-us-isnt-built-for-an-always-on-game-console Neowin moves a nanometer from the MS party-line, the tards are for the most part enraged! Hilarious, really. First thought I had was "Lord of the Flies".

http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-pokes-fun-at-facebook-home-and-mark-zuckerberg Oh the irony. The fanboys and shills there are talking about how Facebook is irrelevant and could share the fate of MySpace any minute.. yet MS hardcoded FB into Windows Phone (and W8) in! Maybe it wasn't so smart to force all that social crap upon everyone, huh? I also think that FB is somewhat over-hyped, but watching Windows Phone fans deriding it is hilarious. It's like Steam users calling computer games to be a waste of time.
-
Bears the question what the f*** is wrong with these enablers? I have no love for people who pirate so much stuff that they could fill ten blu-rays everyday, but this other extreme of willful corporate servitude p***es me off. I am starting to believe that these folks are genuinely masochistically inclined. What do you think? Begging corps. to deliver a worse experience in return for cash, and cheering them on when they really do it, is way beyond fanboy. It's also interesting that the juices of these retards begin really to flow when it's about forced big brother type tech. They get really excited then.
-
The post by Frank Shaw was pathetic. They don't get it that Windows Phone is a niche system (that's what you get for abandoning your mobile customers constanty - Microsoft: "Windows Mobile? Never existed!" [metro as a design language doesn't seem to wow people either]). They remind me of the Linuxistas back when MS didn't receive their strategic papers from the loony bin. They would also act offended when some company used a feature they had before; "we had repositories before Apple!" *whine*. Well, no one cares, since almost no one uses them when you're a 1% system. Was Microsoft seriously thinking that no one ever would implement some WP features on a non-niche OS?

Neowin masochists are at it again. I am seriously thinking about launching that kickstarter SM studio coupon project to relieve these whinnies: http://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-studios-creative-director-debates-always-on-game-console-stance ... Customer satisfaction is for the weak minded, the only good customer-corp relation is being kicked in the a** while shoving money in theirs.

Oh yea, I know this attitude from MS reps. On channel9 I had a lively flame war about their klling-off of Small Business Server. Topic came up that many places, even in the developed world, have bad internet connections and they just can't go full-cloud. Laws in many countries forbid full-cloud solutions for "sensible" professions too (like lawyers). The response of their main shill there was basically "who cares?" Here it is: http://channel9.msdn.com/Forums/Coffeehouse/Microsoft-continues-to-please-their-existing-customers?page=3 Their arrogance and loon-attitude is sky high nowadays. Funny thing is that the more under pressure, the more arrogant they become. Inverting all common sense business rules. That Channel9 link has more such gems. Recommended reading.

Neowin proves once again to be fanboy-central: http://www.techbroil.com/2013/03/the-mythical-million-mom-army.html?showComment=1365070609696#c1692515108061955179

That would be a perma-ban most of the time.

You've got to admit it's quite funny how many new haters for themselves they have created in such a short time.

That zombie image is spot on. We are witnessing the greatest technological regression since a long time, maybe ever. I get sick hearing from the pundits the claim that the forced touchiness is the same as the transition to GUI from CLI, utter garbage. The new paradigm gives less functionality, is far harder to use (try to stretch your arms for a belonged time), needs far more maintenance (cleaning screens from fingerprints constantly), and is a health nightmare in the making (gorilla arm). Seriously, it inverts all the health cautionary warnings and recommendation for the office workplace. Then of course the loss of empowerment by the forced accompanying appstores, with no sensible sideloading most of the time. It's tech from hell! I really wonder what's going in the mind of these darn ABMers (anything but mouse) promoting this garbage as the future of all computing, consumer and work alike. BS. Were they bitten by mice in the a** when they were children or something, and we have to suffer because of their traumas? Even the Minority Report interface they are always wetting their pants about is garbage in reality. Watch that scene again - it looks cool, but every cop would prefer a desktop computer after two days of standing around and twisting your arm like a retard all time. Sorry for the strong language, needed to shout off.

Hal Berenson, former MS employee, writes: http://hal2020.com/2013/03/28/windows-blue-buzz/ Given that he has ties with MS yada yada, I guess that's indeed how they view their 95% deskop marketshare: as 5% legacy hurdles, standing in the way and blocking the glorious metro future. Follow up: http://hal2020.com/2013/03/23/does-windows-rt-have-a-place-in-the-sun/#comment-8192 Commenters call on his BS, and his response is absolutely pathetic (AutoCAD on tablets...). Given that all that he's written so far jives with Microsoft's policy quite well, MS seems to have completely lost it. It's Angry Birds or bust apparently.

Touchtards are quick to anger: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1039757722&postcount=29 Very funny outburst.
