  1. I'm sorry, but the solution must be something different! I searched many threads, but all I got is a bunch of informations about the wpi.CMD Why isn't the variable given over to the WPI program? I think, it does not have anything to do with the cmd file. Simply the fact, that WPI does not "accept" the contents of the DOS variables. cu FuNKeR
  2. This is not really the problem. The cmd file works great and WPI is being started. BUT: When I choose any application and click install, it always says "Can't find D:\install\someprogram\setup.exe". Well, WPI is being started from drive E: though  So it seems that the variable %WPIPATH% or %CDROM% are not given over to WPI. Got, what my problem is about? cu FuNKeR
  3. How did you solve the problem? Got the same here cu FuNKeR
  4. I thought more of something that fit's some visual styles for Windows. I do not really like these kind of wallpapers, although she is quite pretty cu FuNKeR
  5. Wow! Never thought of this feedback, but I like it I think, I will do some more styles for WPI when I got the time for it. Any requests? cu FuNKeR
  6. OK, for now I put the optional buttons back into the wpi.htm file, but I have got some issues with that The optional buttons always put themselves underneath eachother and I don't know why As you can see in the Inspirat theme, the buttons should be besides each other. Does anyone know a solution for that? cu FuNKeR
  7. Well... that's not too easy with my skins. I removed the entries for the buttons from the wpi.htm's and noticed the option in the useroptions.js afterwards So I need to reinsert the buttons to the wpi.htm again. This will surely take a while. English is no problem thoug. Just change the language in the useroptions.js I think I can put the theme online during the day. cu FuNKeR
  8. Thank you. I will "release" it in a while, when I have also put the counter to a place, that fits to it (have some problems with it). And I'm thinking of putting the optional buttons back into the design o_O cu FuNKeR
  9. Is this what you were waiting for? http://webdesjan.kicks-a**.org/images/wpi_inspirat.jpg Comments and suggestions are welcome cu FuNKeR
  10. Well, I'm currently building a version of the theme, that is language independent, so you just select the language in the config.js and then you got it translated. It is too much effort to change alle the graphics for each language... cu FuNKeR
  11. Yeah! XPlode v4 *I've-got-a-haaappy-feeling-about-this* I will try it in a while, when I got the time to go on with my project here @ work. Thank you Wraith for not cutting this off. I... somehow like you cu FuNKeR
  12. I did not change anything. That is because of the dependencies. When you click the AnyDVD item, then the two others will be "revealed", so you can click them. cu FuNKeR
  13. I've built another custom one: Link Maybe you like it? cu FuNKeR
  14. Thanks a lot I'm not a friend of animated GIFs or something. I like clean-looking and friendly stuff, so there is NO way that I put a black background to such programme though... And as you can see, I like to play with colors, HTML, CSS and stuff. Here you go: http://www.webdesjan.de/stuff/wpi_funker.rar Be aware! Take a look at the lang.js, because there ist no more text besides the buttons. The text is in the graphics. So if anyone want to have the buttons translated => ask me. Netherlands for example. EDIT: Updated the pack with German (****ner_g) and an English (funker_e) themes and languages (cust_g and cust_e) cu FuNKeR
  15. I customized my WPI also: http://webdesjan.kicks-a**.org/images/wpi.jpg cu FuNKeR
  16. OK, here we go: W2K Pro SP2 VM: error message in first post W2K Pro SP4 VM: error message in first post W2K Pro SP4 normal workstation: works fine WXP Pro SP2 VM: works fine WXP Pro SP2 normal workstation (with VMWare installed): Works fine WHEN used "regsvr32 scrrun.dll" So the regsvr-fix only works in WinXP. Not in W2K. There it doesn't matter, if the dll is registered or not You still get the error in my first post. The error always occurs, when I open WPI. AND when I click any item in the programme. Another bug (maybe) is, that the dependencies don't work, when I get the error message. But they do work on the other systems... Hope you get it. My english surely is far away from perfect, so if there are any more questions, ask me cu FuNKeR
  17. Found the error If you get this error, try this: Start => Run => regsvr32 scrrun.dll Then it will work properly. Found it by accident, because another program didn't work. I registered the dll an then both programs worked as they should EDIT: ****! This works for WinXP SP2, but not for W2KSP4 cu FuNKeR
  18. Not completely perfect. It is like this: W2K Pro SP2 VM: error message above W2K Pro SP4 VM: error message above W2K Pro SP4 workstation: works fine WXP Pro SP2 VM: works fine WXP Pro SP2 workstation (with VMWare installed): many other error messages I could try Virtual PC, but is so **** lame on the PC I got here... EDIT: Just tried to run it on a normal workstation and it works So I need to test it on the WXP-VM cu FuNKeR
  19. Oh boy! why am I always doubleposting things??? When I click "add reply" in Opera, it does not do too much. So I click again. Bad mistake... cu FuNKeR
  20. Yeah, me too. It is only on the **** W2K VM and the XPSP2 host system cu FuNKeR
  21. Ooops... I misunderstood something there I also tried to launch WPI on a WXPSP2-VM and it worked also. So I still do not know, why this won't work on the other machines. The W2K-VM is a pure 2K with SP2 and also if I install the SP4 it brings th message seen above. I will try it on a normal workstation at work and hope, it won't give me any errors, but... Well, I'll try and hope cu FuNKeR
  22. The problem still persists. The Java thing has did not solve it But thanks for your answer though. cu FuNKeR
  23. Thanks a lot. I will try to install the Java RE and try again. OK, I just tried it here at home and it works, too. Well, I'm curious if this is the only thing that is needed Did anyone post or describe, that the Java VM is needed to run WPI? cu FuNKeR
  24. Is there apossibility to get Windows 2000 packs also? It would be great, because I have a project to do at work which contains making an unattended Win2K-Multiboot-DVD (alltogether though ). I also got a deadline for this project, so it would ne nice to have something like this. Otherwise I would just use the packs and see what happens cu FuNKeR
