  1. So sorry of my bad English.. I meant all of the CABinet files for MU by saying "ActiveX Files" The only file that i can get is that muweb_site file lol:)
  2. Actually these discussions are refer to 6th version of Windows Update. It has nothing but a new look and an interface. You must try http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate instead of just http://update.microsoft.com . This is the real version 6 of Microsoft's Product Updating System. And its new name is "Microsoft Update". It also adds a new icon to your start menu(The old one also connects the new MU site). Its main difference is you can update all of your MS Software(currently Windows,Office and SQL products are supported) at one page simultaneously. It also updates the AU client to receive critical updates of these Office and SQL products. Can some1 grab this MU's site's ActiveX files? Thank You!
  3. This script requires the download of download.exe from the http://www.iopus.com/download/ with the users who have the latest version of XPCREATE. wget.exe(bundled with Commercial Ver. of XPCREATE) is not enough for utln's script.
  4. I need the ModuleID of the KB886903.. Does anyone know what this string is or how to get it?
  5. As you may know the WinXP Setup CD's that are already integrated(by Microsoft) with WinXP Sp1 or Sp2 package have a directory called DOTNETFX. This folder contains the necessary setup files of .NET Framework 1.1 and its SP1. The Setup can be triggered via the 2nd page of the AutoRun Menu of the CD by clicking "Install .NET ..." as you also know I want to know is there any way to integrate the KB886903 hotfix which is a patch made for .NET 1.1 Sp1, into this folder without changing the structure of the folder. I have tried some methods(including editing the XPSP.ini,BASELINE.DAT,DFFACT.DAT,VS_SETUP.PDI) but none of them worked. I know there are other ways like making a new package or integrating with the WinXP Setup but i need it in this way.. Thank You..
  6. I have Audigy2 ZS Pla. PRO installed with the latest drivers & patches on a WinXP Pro sp2 system. Everything is fine except with WMV movies. When I try to play these video clips in MediaSource with DTS Neo:6 Cinema enabled, the framerate will decrease anormally..There is no glitching or other problem with the sound. Did anyone notice this issue? Thank You. My system: P4 3.2 Ghz 512KB L2 Cache 1 GB of DDR400 with dualChannel enabled i875 chipset board. SB Audigy2 ZS Plat. Pro Asus V8170 GF4-MX440 64MB DDR Agp4x
  7. I also have the same problem with gbmacman. I think the problem is caued by shlwapi.dll in the KB873377(this also covers the HF KB834707). I still can not find a solution.
  8. Sounds weird..In all of my XP compilations I can not solve this problem just by adding to SVC-SWF..May be my XPCREATE is outdated. Let me check... Thank You.
  9. Thank you, GreenMachine:) I just want to say that Macromedia has changed its swflash.cab. XPCREATE With the swflash.cab version of 7.0.19.0 , setup asks for Flash Player Setup disks and in order to continue to setup you must press cancel button on that screen. So the setup continues the installation without the flash plug-in. I found a simple solution for this issue..If I don't bother you I want to explain just for making compatible with XPCREATE..There are 2 methods. 1st one explains what has to be done in order to integrate Flash Player v7. The 2nd one explains making the Flash Player v7 be compatible with XPCREATE. ----------------- 1st method: a.For SWFLASH.INI File: 1. After integrating Sp2 with Windows XP the swflash.in_ file must be extracted from the i386 directory. 2. In this INI file, under the [strings] section just retype the line as: VersionNumber = "7,0,19,0" and save it. 3. Then, by using MAKECAB, recompress the swflash.ini as swflash.in_ and overwrite with in the i386 directory of the CD.. For FLASH.OCX File: 1. Delete the flash.oc_ file from the i386 directory of Windows Setup CD. 2. Compress the new flash.ocx file(that must be v7 or later) by using MAKECAB, as flash.oc_ 3. Copy the new flash.oc_ to the i386 directory of the CD. --------------------- ------------------------- 2nd Method; 1. Create the new SWFLASH.IN_ and FLASH.OC_ files as mentioned above without editing i386 directory. 2. Make a package with the name of SWLASH.CAB by using IEXPRESS. 3. Just put this SWFLASH.CAB file into the SVC-SWF directory of XPCREATE. ------------------------- Last Words: -->These methods shouldn't be used in the same XPCREATE compilation! --> GETFLASH.EXE & GETFLASH.MAN files are NOT necessary for both methods. -->I have tested these with 18 different PCs with EN-US versions of WinXP PRO. Good Day..
  10. For GDI+ tool; Just edit the gditool.inf file in the package by deleting the "/extended gdidet.xml" string under the [RunMsiutil] section and repackage it. This will eliminate the message that may appear after the installation of the tool. So it is avaible for 100% silent install..
  11. fczajka; Officially, Microsoft does not recomend integrating .NET Framework(I don't know why.But may be a license problem). Because of this, I create a folder with a name DOTNETFX and copy everything from the original DOTNETFX folder in FREE-SP2 CD(This CD is completely free to all countries). This is not going to install .NET but now you can install it with its SP1 from the Auto-Run Menu of the CD(Perform Additional Tasks -->Install .NET FrameWork). It will work..
  12. You can do it by replacing the flash.ocx file with the latest one in i386 directory. And also you must edit the existing swflash.inf file in i386 directory of your original Windows Setup CD. To add/extract/change/edit the files in i386, you must run a search in the forum. If I explain here, I think GreenMachine will be angry with me:) Good Day..
