Hey guys i think im asking pretty wierd question but u know wat my computer keeps on checking for floppy disks automatically by making some sound in floppy drive.Can i stop the comp. from doing this????Thanx in advance.

At the log on screen press ctrl+alt+del twice and then enter administrator name in user box and leave password field blank and enter.Hope that works.

i have one cpu but it shows 2 and it does not create any problem even if i uninstall one cpu.

hi everyone i have a pentium 4 processor with ht technology.There is no prob with it but when i check my device manager it shows me 2 processors instead of one.Why??Does anyone know??

yuo just have to go to control panel > add remove program > click on windows component add remove , and remove any program u don't need.

the games will not work by just copying u will have to install them from cd .The hard disk doesnot install the games.

I want to know how i can turnoff the sound of modem dialling.And also before when it used to dial number it used its own speaker but now it is using my pc speakers does anyone know how to alter between these speakers.

when u type the above mentioned command in run it opens a box to manage passwords.I just want a direct access to this box like i access other user accounts from control panel. Thanx for the kind support.

hey i want to know that im unable to play avi extension files on my win media player 10 it says u need indeo or some other codecs but b4 i could play them without the need of the above mentioned codecs .help me what should i do?

what do we type in run box to open user accounts 2 control panel?

You just have to go to taskbar right click it and click properties uncheck the box saying: " Hide inactive icons".And it will stop hiding ur inactive icons and stop telling u abt it.Otherwise wait for few days and it will automatically stop sayng.

those boxes were checked and what is firewall and how i might know abt it??

go to run in start then type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 and see whether this box is checked or not users must enter a password .......computer... if no then click on the box...

Whenever i click to check my emails in hotmail account it gives me this kind of error cannot display page server does not respond however for every other page there is no problem it also happens in msfn and yahoo mail.help me somebody!
