thx for all your replies. in my company, we don't have CD's access, cause it is a master for every workstation. Maybe i could use a standard NT4 cd edition, but they are security freak, no cd drive is working. Hopefull i have a dev profiel with admin rights. I guess if i don't find a solution before tomorrow, they will take my pc away and remasterise it. They server back c:\document every night, so all my stuffs there would be back, but i care more about my scripts and docs. Since i am here, i crash 4 times already . We are on an xp migration, but not for me right now cause i am dev. By the way, we are on NTFS partition. I have only one disk with 2 partitions, a C:\ and a P:\. I wish there could be a floppy fix solution. eheh. I will give a try anyway, cause so far, i can't lose more than i have had already weeb,

heeh, french companies still use NT4. We are on teh way to XP, but as we are teh dev part, we will be the last to migrate cause we need ti support NT an dXP appli. And i can't access my puter, so many security here. All i woudl like to now if it si possible to make it boot again and if yes how, and then how to try to fix it. HI, after installating a sms of upgrading applications i made, I reboot and after i cannot start my puter. After the DHCP ignition, my PC stop and ask for a system dik. Anyone know how to fix this if it is fixable ? Thx so much, cause all my work is on that workstation. hi, i wrote a post on that last week, cause i had the same probleme with installrite 2.5. and it does not install after i modified some reg in my regtweak, but can get the find of what cause the non installation. Your reg.txt is smaller than mine, so i hope someone can find out what wrong with installrte and unattened installation of XP. Weeb,

i am sure you gonna make it .... I can still use a cmd btach to launch some makecab command when i need it. but your vbs is quiet cool and easy to use. For the WINSPOOL.EXE, my fault, i just took an .exe without looking at if it was win32 executable or not. Sorry to have confused you. Who would like to hack that file ? I guess maybe it is cause i put ModifyPE.exe in system32 as i downloaded the file, but i see that in the vbs the file called is modifytype FOR %%I IN (.EXE .DLL .SYS .OCX .CPL .COM) DO IF /I "%%I"=="%EXT%" MODIFYPE.EXE %~fs1 -c I guess if i rename it to MODIFYPE.EXE it shoudl works. That's what I did. Both methods did not work, neither the package installation nor the setup.exe after the use of winrar. Nobody ever try to install it in a vm ? i am sure yes ... but does it ever work ?

in fact i want to install it after my unattended installation of XP is finished. Just to finish some tweak before my personal gold release . So i mount a shared folder, import InstallRite 2.5 and launch it from my vmware. It is at this time nothing happens. I try to install many other soft, and it is without any problem. Hello, I just realized why my cleanup.cmd did not work completely. It is due to accentuated letters that makes a path error when trying deleting files. So my question is : how to make it works ? using tilda ? how to make that ? What is supprising is that when I use cmd and paste the del instruction in it, even with accents it is working, what is that ? hi, i have a question. If you apply the tweak with cmdlines.txt, the tweak must be in a separate process as RunOnceEx or should be call by it. Cause in my unattended installation, when i create a new users just some parts of the tweak are really apply, some don't. Do you know why ? Is there a better way to be sure apply settings are for all new users created ?
