    In the case of installing a repotec wp-1400 wireless lan NIC, I had zero success after autopatching, but it went fine once 98SE2ME was installed. I wonder whether it is more appropriate to attempt to install hardware drivers AFTER all patching/updating has been completed...

    The AP works great. Second time around I avoided option 3 when installing 98SE2ME.

    I successfully used the AP with the unofficial SP2 + 98SE2ME back in 2006. No bugs. I am now trying a fresh install with AP07+08update and 98SE2ME. Can someone please point out the solution for the EXPLORER.EXE and SHELL32.DLL crash when booting? Many thanks...
