  1. I'm curious if there's a way to set a time delay between installs. I'm having a problem with certain programs not being quite finished when the next install tries to run, and thus gets skipped from the "And install is currently in progress" type error.
  2. I vote for: NuVista For Nuhi's Vista / New Vista
  3. No. The default is to not merge. I'll try it the other way. EDIT Negative... made no difference.
  4. Without integrating anything (Drivers, hotfixes, ect) I'm getting errors on running the .ISO now. Missing files: kodak_dc.icm srgb.icm streamci.dll tosdvd.sys tsbvcap.sys tsbyuv.dll usbcamd2.sys usbcamd.sys vdmindvd.sys wowfax.dll wowfaxui.dll usrcntra.dll usrcoina.dll usrdpa.dll usrdtea.dll usrbva.dll usrmlnka.exe usrprbda.exe usrrtosa.dll usrsdpia.dll usrshuta.exe usrsvpia.dll usrv42a.dll usrv80a.dll usrvoica.dll usrvpa.dll I have no idea what the hell's going on. I'm using the exact same unmodified XPCD directory that I always use as a base. P.S. My driver.cab file is not corrupt according to Winrar and 7-Zip. Also, if I use my XPCD directory and go straight to create ISO in NLite, that ISO file works fine.
  5. Dammit... the site wouldn't let me show it as the BMP file. Trust me, it looks EXACTLY the same.
  6. I'm curious if it's possible to force the /nogui switch in the boot.ini during the unattended install?
  7. Did you Modifype the DLL files before using Makecab? Also, does your custom install only do Windows? I use WPI for installing other programs and it lets you import Registry keys.
  8. By far the best release yet! Now if you'd only add: Autopartition and autoformat it would be perfect.
  9. My first suggestion is to re-download the program and re-install it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with his "make ISO" engine. Next, make sure the Windows Disk you're using can boot. If not, it's missing the necessary boot files and therefore the one you create with NLite won't have them.
  10. I'm looking for a website which hosts Windows XP Themes in .Theme format. IE: Themes which do NOT require a third-party application. (Windows Blinds, Stardock, ect.) I want to be able to just put it in my themes folder and apply it. Thanks.
  11. My custom WINNT.SIF file has some options the Nlite doesn't give the ability to create. Here they are: [Data] Autopartition = 1 [unattended] Repartition = Yes [systemRestore] DisableSR = 1 CreateFirstRunRp = 0 [shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\black.theme"
  12. I zip all the files with the config.txt and 7zs.sfx files added. But when I run the new EXE file, I get the error: Program Too Big To Fit In Memory. Wtf?
  13. I need to know how to have Windows point to my display picture for Messenger Live on an unattended setup. Is it stored in the registry?
  14. Is there a way to integrate this new version of cmenu?
  15. I'm re-creating my unattended install DvD. I need to know if there's a way to have it install a program in windows SAFE mode. Thanks!
  16. I'm curious if this driver is in your packs. After my unattended install, I still get asked for this driver when the "New hardware Wizard" pops up.

    Woa!

Granted, it's been out a while... but I've just "discovered" it. The game is Eve Online. If you're tired of the boring same ole', same ole'... this just might be the game for you. There are SO many complexities to the game, I can't even begin to list them. Imagine everything you've read or seen on TV and in books about commanding a ship in space and it's probably in the game. You have to not only learn the various systems in your ship, but how to balance them as well: Navigation, Weapons, Tracking, slots for outfitting your ship with various components and balancing your slots, CPU ability and available power. Then there's your character, itself. Your character is handled in a Matrix sort of way. You're basically plugged in to your ship. To learn skills, you simply request the skill and it's downloaded to your brain. This takes REAL TIME. It's not your average hack-n-slash to improve type of game. If it will take 1 hour to download the skill... it will take 1 hour. The nice thing about this is that when you log off, the clock is still ticking. So if a skill takes 8 hours to learn, you start it before you go to work and it will be done when you get home. In this regard, there's no twinking in the game. Sure, someone could give you a nice ship or a lot of money... but you can't control a ship unless your skill is high enough to do so. Again, this takes real time. Crafting in the game is also interesting. You want to make money? Work towards getting a ship with a bigger cargo hold. To go mining... you have to go hunting astreroids in space to mine from. Even if you have absolutely no intention of getting into the game, EVERYONE should download the free trial to check out the character generator and the 3D Space Map you learn how to use in the tutorial. VERY awesome. As you choose different background career options, you're granted levels in specific skills. IE: If you choose a War College as where you went to school, your piloting and weapon skills get an increase. The best part? The Free Trial does NOT require a credit card. No money, no information sent. And no, I do NOT work for the company. I was just really, really impressed. EVE ONLINE FREE TRIAL
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't the HOSTS file slow as hell? The computer checks it every time you access a webpage, thus slowing down the browsing process.
  19. Ok, I figure there's a LOT of technically inclined folks here who probably know about the Openwrt project. I, however, am a complete moron with no concept. I've read up on the official website, but most of the information is greek to me. Thus far, I have TFTP downloaded and understand that I need a "package" to install on my router. Therein lies the problem. I have no concept. All I want to do is configure my router to act as my HOSTS file, only better; IE: Be able to add wildcard domains {*.ads.com} to be blocked from the router itself. Anything else is gravy. I don't know a **** thing about Linux, and all of my computers are Windows XP Pro. The TFTP program runs, so I know I can flash my router, but I need to know what files to download and the correct process for getting it up and running. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
  20. And yet it does accomplish getting the program installed. Oh, and if I read this thread correctly, YOUR post is in the wrong place as well... the Preaching forum is elsewhere. To original poster, I've used Tarquel's install and it works like a champ. Puts a shortcut on the desktop and everything.
  21. Arg. Sorry, posted this in a hurry. I posted Nlite, but I meant WPI. WPI is the program I've been using to install applications, .REG files, ect.
  22. I checked the website, but couldn't find any specifics. I'm just curious what Xplode can do that Nlite can't. Thanks.
  23. Anyone? I'd like to set my own icons for association with .BMP files and so forth using a registry entry.
  24. Is it possible to create my own shell32.dll / explorer.exe file and create the necessary associations with a .REG file during install?
