Well i downloaded .net 3.0 redist from ms site and it is only 2.8 MB so it don't have .net 2.0. And as i wrote in my first post i don't want to use ryan VM, because i don't want some more third party tools, just MS so it can be redist or "ms update packages" ... and i don't know direct link to get "ms update packages" for IE7, WMP11, DIRECTX9feb2007, .net 1.1 (with or withouth sp1) and .net 3.0 with .net 2.0 in it ...

Is it possible to selecet office 2007 skin in msp file? If so - how? And if not how can i unattended change it to black?

I'am trying to install .net 1.1, sp+1 patches from cd and all fails (bacause of i don't have .net1.1 which of course failed to install) same with .net 2.0 - no error but it don't appear in add/remove programs .net 3.0 starts to install but never ends IE7 just uninstall standard IE6, but don't install itself \: All installators are extracted. Im using standard installers from microsoft site, not ryan's and not some builded msis, because i simply don't want it and i think it can work wthouthout it. I can i also live with it installed from microsoft update files, so if there are some suiteable, post links for it please, i know i'm lame when i can't get it myself, but please be at last nice to me. BTW i'm stuck with this for about week now, so that is why i'm asking. All files are where path in runonceex points. I hate that it restart pc even when i run it with /norestart < anyone have solution for this. Also automate activation would be nice.

I edited winntbbu.dll and syssetup.dll (pemodify it and makecab), and when installation go to graphic stage everything look as i wanted it, but there is a 'small' problem - installation don't start installing, just bullets in right corner are moving. \: Does this happened to someone else? When graphic part of windows installation start it end up with this error The fun part is that i don't remeber changing anything with gdi or os. I have only changed WINNTBBU.DLL syssetup.dl_ im using downloaded and edited uxtheme.dl_ from unatteneded.msfn.org and offcourse i have changed winnt.sif too. Do you know what can couse this? And how to fix it? I'm installing it in wmvare from ISO, source i winodws xp pro sp2 en 2002 (mui) and the GDIPLUS.DLL file is different on dell recovery xp (xp pro sp2 en)cd then one my crated cd \: but also checksums im GDIPLUS.MAN are different.

Well so anybody somehow managed setup to take config file from another location then setup.exe? Because it is quite ugly when i can install everything else from DVD, just adobe CS2 needs to be copied to local harddrive. \:

Hello, how can i allow non administrative users to change ip, netmask and dns? change intel pro set settings? change drive letter for flash disk after connecting it (it is not visible as drive after connecting it because network mounted drives already take it's letter) change some specified keys in hklm (not allkeys, just ones that i allow)? - this must be ideally done by command so i can script it Thanks for help.

Well, this - http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/5784/risgl9.gif is my GPO settings - no GPO overwrites it, but i still don't see any option to set computername and ou where to place it during preinstallation wizzard, any ideas again? I know this is dumb question but i'm not able to find any help and make my ris installation ablolutely perfect.

Thanks it seams taht it is supposed to do what i want, but when i try it get error that setup is unable to display any selection options. Any ideas how to fix it? Btw i had issue that ris placed my image to czech (it is czech windows installation) and can't find it so i renamed it in setup and oschooser to english and it worked.

How to use my winnt.sif for unnatended cd for use with RIS? I have tryed copy it to unnatend.txt, to remboot.sif and riprep.sif also i copied my $OEM$ structere to /i386/$OEM$ in ris "image".

In winnt.sif i have set 1 autologin to admin account, turn off firewall and auto activation (windows is VLK so i should not be problem), included network drivers for all computers where i deploying installation, but i still have problem that after installation windows starts SP 2 wizzard and ask user to set up firewall, create admin account and actiavte windows. I have problems installing ultravnc silently unattended with MS logon - i had made export of acl file and exported winvnc3 in hklm\software made ini of install, but there is no acl and reg server specified. How to send it to setup?
