ok so ive made a new xp pro clean with sp2 unnatende insatll.my first iso was the basic install with a winnt.sif file which worked great. now the iso ive just made witht the same source but with the following changes Added custom winntbuu.dll Added CMDLINES Added Registry Tweaks Added Start.cmd Added Alcohol 120%,Office 2003,Nero ,Winrar Added Custom Theme Added system Properties Logo and support box Added Auto User Account Added Crystal Logon screen Added copy IE Favs now all of the above have been tested prevoulsy and i know there are no problem wiht the exception of the new winntbuu.dll i added (i used another cusotm one in the past) Gave me this error at the begining of the insatll.after first reboot where you see the time remaing etc Error: The signature for Windows XP Professional Setup is invalid. The error code is 800b0100. *** Fatal Error: Setup failed to install the product catalogs. This is a fatal error. The setup log files should contain more information. could it be the winntbuu.dll?

Might be wrong but would the .exe file be used wihtin the os to patch the file where as the .sys fiel can be add to the install cd

read agin .ive tried withput any reg files at all in my install and still have the same problem.this dont make any sense

UPDATE i have altered my regfiles etc and even removed all reg completly from insatll tried varoius versions of uxtheme.dll heres the error and iso built with ntlite on virtual pc 6

well i added those lines and removed this [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Themes] "Start"=dword:00000004 which i had l to start the service as this actualy seemed to be disabling it, i have tried dword 2 3 and 4 with the same results.now ive insatlled agin and once agin the windows classic theme is loaded and in services its set to automatic but not started ,so i hit start browse to a theme and the same error apears "the service is not running blah blah" Some help please! ive insatlled a total of 17 times since starting this cd please no more! lol

yeah think ive got it now seems i had a registry keys 1 starting the service at the top and another stoping it at the bottom LOL

ok so removing the / from the cmdlines gave me a popup during insatll asking if i wanted to add the info into the registry .but still no theme after insatll.the service was disabled .so i started It but when i select my theme manually im told the service is not running! My cmdlines is now [COMMANDS] "useraccounts.cmd" "REGEDIT /S registry.reg" everything works except themes WTF???

yeap the cmdlines and reg files are in the $oem$ i also have them in the install folder and in the apps folders.I currently dont use and cmd file for creating a user acount so ill do that now.and remove the typo with driverspolicy also remove the /s from the cmdlines. Ihope this working im kinda pist wiht this now
