Thanks coucou! I always do like this! When BSOD (Blue Screen Of the Death) happens to me sometimes is due to ATI Graphic drivers not working well on the virtual machine. But my Windows 7 SP1 + IE9 customized with all my programs installed with WPI 8.1.0 works really fine. The only trouble I'm looking for now is the pop up window asking to reboot the computer to have all the fonctionnality. I can wait with this pop up! I think it is because IE9 is integrated!

I've installed SP1 with "sysprep" and I've no problem. It was just my advice about integration KB947821. This upadte isn't given for me with Windows Update after my silent installation and all is fine. But using 7Customizer 0.4.4 or 7Customizer 0.5.0 with my new Windows 7 SP1, I have an error and blue4603 is working to find the "bug"! If I select another install.wim file and select a new time the install.wim I want customize 7Customizer works fine! Weird. Cheers and thanks.

You must write the reg files correctly with the path: Example: More help: http://www.msfn.org/...-user-creation/ (post RickSteele post #10) http://www.msfn.org/...471#entry957471 http://www.msfn.org/...re/page__st__80

Problems with WPI in VM (Virtual Box 4.0.4)
myselfidem replied to DonaldFaQ's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
I've installed successfuly all my programs with WPI 8.1.0 for my Windows 7 SP1 with IE9 integrated using Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.0.4! All works really fine! Check your file WPI_Log.txt to see errors! Image successful install Enjoy! *Edit: Tested Win7 WIM Integrator v1.05 ALPHA. Working fine but the iso creation not working, and Upgrading SP1 always give KB947821 with Windows Update and errors installation! Great work anyway! http://www.win-lite.de/wbb/board195-windows-7/board196-win7-tools-zur-image-bearbeitung/board265-special-win7-wim-integrator/15858-win7-wim-integrator/ -
Integration Versus Audit Mode?
myselfidem replied to alvinkhorfire's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
The compression does not alter (break) the install.wim file! -
You can use wsua.exe to install silently the msu language pack file (or updates): Example with French language pack msu file: C:\Windows\System32\wusa.exe C:\IE9-Windows6.1-LanguagePack-x86-fra.msu /quiet /norestart All options with: Start | Run and use cmd Microsoft Windows [version 6.1.7601] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. Tous droits réservés. C:\Users\Antoine>cd C:\Windows\System32 C:\Windows\System32>wusa /?
-
It was not the same problem! coucou tried to integrate IE9-win7.msu on an English Windows 7 version and adding language pack French. The language not matching the language OS! Of course that doesn't work like this!
-
You can replace timeout /t 3 with: choice /t 3 /c on /cs /d o > nul http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/139572-ask-your-seven-xml-here/page__st__80 You can also read inside DISM\dism.log about the errors!
-
The batch file works fine for me with timeout /t 3 You need to use a clean Windows 7 SP1 and integrate first IE9-win7.msu and language file cab matching your Windows 7 language version! How did you integrate SP1 ? And I see inside the log file: You don't need the WAIK supplement for this operation, you can use WAIK for Windows 7 = KB3AIK_FR, if you have installed Windows 7 French version! The supplement is usefull if you want customize boot.wim or WinRE.

About creating a DVD Windows 7 customized, I've tried to integrate IE9 inside an image with 85 updates and the integration fails! You can read my posts #25 and #28 here: IE9 to integrate the Windows 7 DVD? New test released with IE9-win7.msu and Windows6.1-KB982861-x86.cab inside an image Windows 7 SP0 with 85 updates integrated first. The integration fails! But the integration is successful with a clean Windows 7 SP0 or SP1 integrating at first IE9 and Language pack cab file, and AFTER all others updates!
-
@coucou There is only one file for IE9-win7.msu (choose the one you need x86 or x64 for Windows 7) that you can download at the second post given by ricktendo64! Use this file and the languages files cab needed for your silent install (French; Hebrew): http://www.microsoft...9e-1671b6a64495 Extract the files to use cab files for integration like explained above (link you've given DISM command) ! Take care = Windows 7 SP1 needs languages pack SP1. Remember, It's needed to test to know! Thanks to let us know! Regards *Edit: If you have errors or no success, I think that means it's also needed to add languages inside boot.wim, and not only inside install.wim files!
-
I've haven't tested, but it seems that there is possible if you have integrated French and Hebrew languages! You can use IE9-Win7.msu and integrate the languages pack files CAB (extracted from the msu languages files), before to integrate others updates, using DISM or softwares! Because inside my computer HP, I can see all the files for Internet Explorer for many languages: de-DE; en-US; fr-FR; it-IT Thanks to try and let us know. Thanks
-
Just integrate IE9 over Win7 SP1 or Win7 SP0, but without updates added first! Integrate first IE9 and after the updates.

Hi jaclaz ! I think there is two options: 1) Delete all the HP programs and create a new installation with Windows 7 without any programs HP, and follow the method given by cannie. 2) Second option: Delete the Recovery partition to have space and add a new parttion, like the example here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1403747 And, of course phone to HP asking more informations about the HP_Tools volume and How to add more space inside the PC or Laptop adding a new partition. My PC HP x64 doesn't have the HP_Tools volume!, but two HDD with Intel Recovery system to save the OS on the second HDD!

You can find some tweaks reg files I've translated for French language. Adapt to your needs for English: Tweaks RT 7 Lite Cheers

I've bought one computer HP having some troubles software, especially during the creation of the DVD recovery. And an other time with a notebook! HP offered me the DVD's recovery, it was during the warranty period! And for a friend even after the warranty period, because during the Recovery creation one CD (7 CD's burned) had a burning error!

You can find some documentation provided by HP: http://h10025.www1.h...product=4098683 http://www8.hp.com/ch/fr/support-drivers.html http://h10025.www1.h...coveryPartition Cheers. myselfidem
