  1. Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.0.4 works really fine fo me on my computers x86 or x64! Check your "bootorder.txt". Oscdimg Command-Line Options:http://technet.micro...243(WS.10).aspx Image tested successfuly with VM VirtualBox with an image 4,79Go
  2. blue4603 is working to fix the "bug" with Windows 7 SP1 version, that I'm guessing you tried to use with 7Customizer! However, keep in mind that all your changes you've made, are lost if you delete 7Customizer files and unzip a new time 7Customizer_0.5.0.rar! Of course! Like for the file "bootorder.txt"! *Edit: I've tried with your language file translated (Swedish) and works fine (old one, include inside 7Customzer)! No problem found using Windows 7 SP0 image!
  3. It happens some times also with my iso file, when I create my customized image, but maybe not for the sames reasons! I try to create a new time the iso file, first and I make a new test with the virtual machine! Have you set the files "etfsboot.com" and "bootorder.txt" inside the folder "work"? The path seems not complete to access these files! Example (Windows 7 x86), my command: "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\oscdimg.exe" -u2 -m -o -lSe7en_SP1 -b"C:\work\etfsboot.com" -yo"C:\work\bootorder.txt" "C:\Se7en_SP1" "C:\Se7en_SP1.iso" But, I've never tested with an DL-DVD (Double Layer): http://en.wikipedia....wiki/DVD%2BR_DL
  4. It's about the log.zip created! I've dowloaded your file (log.zip), and even with my log.zip, I can't extract the files with Windows 7! However, if I select the two files "log.txt" and "fullLog.txt" to create a zip file with Windows 7, the zip file is created and I can open it with Windows 7 extractor wizard!
  5. I haven't tested with VHD, but with creating an other partition and without using the OOBE part with sysprep! I think you can find help here: New Videos made by ricktendo64: http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?/topic/7384-video-windows-7-aikopk-deployment-101-updated/ http://forums.techarena.in/guides-tutorials/1175447.htm Unattended Servicing Command-Line Options
  6. Thanks blue! Yes the folder is not empty, but I can't extract this one with Windows 7 extractor wizard (right-click and extract)!? And a message inside a window appears: the compressed folder is empty!
  7. Weird! When I download your log.zip => The folder is empty!?!? I think the zip file can't be extracted with Windows. However using 7zip or WinRar!
  8. About language trouble, you can try to edit the "bootorder.txt" and set your language for bootsect.exe.mui
  9. Many thanks cannie for your sharing! I think the trouble is to keep the recovery partition D:\ and create a new one reducing the partition C:\ First it's better to delete this partition (D:\) with the method discribed here - AND NOT DIRECTLY- , to MERGE C:\ and D:\; because some files are shared between those two partitions: http://www.mydigital...in-hp-computer/ And after create a new partition! *Edit: @brokie32 It would be interesting to know which tools are inside the "HP Tools". Maybe some tools can delete the partition merging C:\ and D:\?? With HP and Windows XP, the only method was to create an CD Tools to do delete the recovery parttion D:\ and create a new parttion with the same CD Tools.
  10. @blue4603 Many thanks for the new version! @grabben I think you need to chek your language file tanslated!
  11. Yes cannie, I think so. And inside the new partition created, it's needed to use a program, like Acronis True Image or others or Windows 7 feature, to create an image backup of the system!! However, if HP said that the warranty is safe with creating a new partition....It's interesting to test!! In the worst case it is possible to use the recovery DVD's (I think about 3 DVD's) burned at FIRST!
  12. Oh yes jaclaz, it's far better to test before and save first the system! I have experienced with my computer HP and Windows XP, before!
  13. After a new testing, I see that we can install IE9 full version (with extracted packages) with a clean Windows 7 SP0 without updates! Test with Windows 7 Ultimate SP0 without updates integrated first (just used the file install.wim for the test): Integration successfull!!! IE9.cmd @echo off Color 0A echo. "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\Servicing\Dism.exe" /Mount-Wim /Wimfile:"C:\Se7en\sources\install.wim" /index:5 /MountDir:"C:\work" timeout /t 3 "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\Servicing\Dism.exe" /Image:"C:\work" /Add-Package /PackagePath:"C:\IE9\IE\IE9-win7.CAB" timeout /t 3 "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\Servicing\Dism.exe" /Image:"C:\work" /Add-Package /PackagePath:"C:\IE9\IE\ielangpack-FRA.CAB" timeout /t 3 "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\Servicing\Dism.exe" /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:"C:\work" /Commit pause to see if errors
  14. Only if you want make changes inside "boot.wim" images or WinRE for Windows 7 SP1! *Edit: 7Customizer_0.5.0.rar available at the first page for download
  15. Yes maxXPsoft it's the best way if we want the support.cab also integrated: installing the exe file after setup! Or using IEAK9 : http://technet.micro...-us/ie/bb219517
  16. Should I integrate also IE9_SUPPORT.cab? IE9_SUPPORT.CAB can't be integrated! I've tested to integrate the full IE9 package after extracting the files. IE9 is integrated successfuly on my image install.wim SP1 only, but not the file IE9_SUPPORT.CAB. Test with Windows 7 SP0 Test with Windows 7 SP1 *Edit: Weird = installation fails on my Windows 7 SP0 (85 updates installed) http://technet.micro...y/ff973977.aspx
  17. I think, it's better to leave the choice to the customer to decide if he wants create an new partition or make others changes on a computer, because if you do some changes on a computer and you delivery this one, there is no more manufacturer warranty! Create a new partition (HP Forum)! Example: same link given above: http://www.mydigital...in-hp-computer/ It's just my advice!
  18. Anyway, I think, it is advisable to create the recovery CD first, before to create an new partition! Maybe the recovery partition (D:\) can't working fine if the size of the partition C:\ is amended! And if there is some trouble , you can reinstall properly your OS like the first time!
  19. Result of the integration (inside install.wim with SP1 installed using "sysprep") with the batch file: Integrate IE9.cmd result:
  20. Many thanks jazh23 Many thanks ricktendo64 for your great help and your tutorials and videos! Notice: could you just write that to download the videos, it's needed to right click and choose download, because some guys don't know that! Thanks Rick!
  21. Nice ! If you have a Windows 7 Home Premium, you can use a batch file: Example for Windows 7 Home Premium x86 Copy/paste inside Notepad: One_Image.cmd CLS echo. REM Deleting unwanted images to save space. REM Change the path and the index number to your needs echo. echo ==Exporting image Windows 7 Home Premium x86== echo. "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\imagex.exe" /export C:\Win7\sources\install.wim 3 C:\Win7\sources\installnew.wim "Windows 7 HOMEPREMIUM" echo. echo ==Deleting unwanted files== echo. DEL /S /F /Q "C:\Win7\sources\install.wim" DEL /S /F /Q "C:\Win7\sources\install_Windows 7 STARTER.clg" DEL /S /F /Q "C:\Win7\sources\install_Windows 7 HOMEBASIC.clg" DEL /S /F /Q "C:\Win7\sources\install_Windows 7 PROFESSIONAL.clg" DEL /S /F /Q "C:\Win7\sources\install_Windows 7 ULTIMATE.clg" echo. REN "C:\Win7\sources\installnew.wim" "install.wim" echo. echo ==End process== echo. echo ==Now the index number is: [install.wim 1]== echo. echo ==WARNING: Don't use twice this batch== echo. echo ==select any key to quit==&pause>nul WARNING: don't use twice this batch file, because the new "install.wim" file will be irretrievably deleted, because it's renamed inside the same folder!
  22. For Home Premium x64 the index number is "2" (4 images availables inside install.wim) For Home Premium x86 the index number is "3" (5 images availables inside install.wim) You can also use imagex.exe to know that! At first it's needed to install WAIK for Windows 7, and launch the command for deploiement tools as administrator: writre: imagex /info <path to your install.wim> Example: imagex /info C:\Se7en_SP1\sources\install.wim And you will see the number of images availables inside the window, and the index number for Windows Home Premium Edition. I have only one image because I've deleted the others inside "install.wim" and the new index for me is only: 1 (to save space on my DVD customized). Imagex info about the image (click on "Show" button): New example with Windows 7 x64 with all images:
  23. It's not so hard, you now! You can install WAIK for Windows 7 and use the batch file given above, and after you can use rt7lite! But I think the next release will be able to integrate IE9! Select your language for WAIK: http://www.microsoft...&displayLang=fr IE9 standalone package for Windows 7 already exists for your language, but it's an exe file: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-9/worldwide-languages *Edit: 1) Download the IE9-win7.msu at the link given by ricktendo64 (second post) and your specific LanguagePack inside a folder created first, like i.e (for example) : C:\IE9 Windows Internet Explorer 9 Language Packs for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 2) Create a working temp folder (to Mount and Unmount /Commit the image you choose), like: C:\work 3) Extract the files inside C:\IE9\IE9-Windows6.1-LanguagePack-x64-esn.msu with Start | Run and write: C:\IE9\IE9-Windows6.1-LanguagePack-x64-esn.msu /extract:C:\IE9 You will see the languagepack you need for your OS version: C:\IE9\Windows6.1-KB982861-x64.cab 4) Change the path to your Windows 7 folder inside the batch (my example: C:\Se7en_SP1\sources\install.wim) and set the index number of your image you want customize (index 4 for Windows 7 x64 Ultimate) Once done, just use your new batch file! I hope that can help you! *Edit: The download link changed for language packs. Download links updated!
