Even now, the number 1 pc magazine in portugal just wrote this on a vista analysis: "dont worry! a new vista instalation on a new or modified pc, won't make you buy a new license. activation works like xp. if you want to install in a new pc, just remove from the old one" What do you think?

Me and some friends want to buy windows vista. We want the OEM version, cause it is much cheaper, however i've read something about the OEM versions being blocked to the 1st hardware you put it in the first time. If that's true, that's gonna be a problem, cause we change hardware regularly, and if that happens, ew must buy a new license?? Where can i confirm this situation in an official MS source? I tryed looking in MS site all over, and didn't found anything about OEM versions. So i ask you guys to please help me. Thanks.

During an unattended install i get this error: can anyone please help me find the source for this problem? it appears after file copying to hd, then he reboots, then starts with the changed setup billboards, and few time after that, that error pops up. Thanks.

please help me on this guys my problems are: 1) remove the prompt during instalation called "windows will automaticly adjust your screen resolution" i have on winnt.sif [Display] Xresolution = 640 Yresolution = 480 BitsPerPel = 16 Vrefresh = 60 that should prevent that screen from showing, i guess. Quicklaunch now appears, but some settings don't, like "group similar items", "lock the taskbar", those settings aren't the way i wanted. I copyed all the content on that key you gave me, but look like that key doesn't do the work.

What you mean by "You need to do it from cmdlines.txt."??? Can't i put them on a .reg and then call that file in cmdlines.txt?
