  1. Ehhm does someone know how this process works? I searched all over the forums but I couldn't find what I need. It's about this: If I reinstall Windows, and then when I open my Documents\My Pictures I see a shortcut placed there (Sample Pictures). This happens every single time when I reinstall my Windows. I want to stop this process. Any Ideas? Thanks in Advance for your help.
  2. Ehhm, does this work for Win SP2 as well? Because I am experiencing problems with setting the visual effects since SP1 Unattended. It worked for me after a long time of testing. And I have to say, this looks promising! Thanks in advance!
  3. I've been posting here for quite some time. I never stopped by here for an introduction. I'm happy to say that my CD Has Finished. You all have share in that. Thanks to your knowledge of this I was able to finish this. Thanks Alanoll, Aaron, Bor3d, (and others). For your help. Great job.
  4. 1. Check out what kind of installer it has. 2. Then I'm able to help you.
  5. I just click save and then the dialog comes up. then i click save again and that doesn't work.
  6. I didn't say anything was wrong. I read the thread. I've chosen to use my own ini and /qb. I bet i've forgotten Xfull = 1......
  7. set it to 4 and have 0000 and a good boot.ima
  8. No. Modern Skin and so on. That's what I want.
  9. Different Ways. InstallRite, Normal [silent] Alanoll's msi. All is set to classic and nothing but the minimal is installed. Stupid
  10. Stupid. It installs. I open up WinAmp, classic skin [not modern] is applied and also no quicklaunch icon.
  11. Go to BlkViper and create your own service file. At system Restore set it to disable. By the Way I used JdeBoeck's method to get rid of sysrestore completely
  12. "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000001 <- Let's Windows choose. You need to edit them all because only then they wiil apply. Self-Defined Settings are almost impossible to achieve. I wanted to clear this up.
  13. "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000001 <- Let's Windows choose.
  14. I have discovered that fine tweaking these settings is very hard. But I figured out the following: [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects] "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000002 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects] "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000002 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects] "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000002 You can try to edit these settings via these keys. Edit them all. At Gosh's site I am looking for modyfing the registry before it is installed. That should fix it. "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000002 <-2 = All Settings Off "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000003 <- Manual Settings "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000001 <- Let's Windows choose.
  15. Yes it should be .lnk (LNK). Step 1. Get your hands on SFXMaker. Step 2. Create a .zip file. Add your shortcuts there. Not all the shortcuts with different targets. Separate them. Create individual .zip files. (differnts .zip for each target.) Once done that open up SFX Maker. Step 3. See the screenshots below. At the end go to the create tab. all will speak for itself. 1 2 3 4
  16. I've searched this board and I found the answer to my problem. Save hivesft.inf in ANSI. I found that file and saved it correctly. There was another file, sysoc.inf Also in Unicode. Couldn't find it uncompressed in i386 folder. Uncompressed it and saved it in ANSI. Next thing is to use the batch files JdeBoeck made. The reason why I'm doing this, is when Windows is installed, there's no IE (I didn't remove it) ANSI is the solution to it. Am I doing the right thing?
  17. I wish I knew. I could give it a try..
  18. It's a fixed hd. I want to put Nero and my drivers so I have space left on my CD. I wanted to know this. This saves me a lot of time.
  19. Is it very hard to construct such a picture prathaml?
  20. I was wondering if this is possible. OemPnPDriversPath="E:\Drivers\000_chipset;Drivers\001_network;Drivers\002_monitor;Drivers\003_tv_out;Drivers\004_usb_chipset;Drivers\005_printer;Drivers\006_scanner;Drivers\007_audio;Drivers\008_vga;Drivers\009_wlan;Drivers\0010_modem" Thanks in advance
