i will post a .csv-file on my website that contains all the known programs and is only downloadable there (Check the downloads-section. if it's not there yet, then it will be in about 5 minutes from the time of posting this post). I updated the program so that it hopefully resolves the error some people mentioned, if nit. please post. this version also includes the saving (and of course loading) of window-size and position

The website now states wich programs are already in the database, but i'm in the process of fishing out the problem you get. My best guess is to change the program in such a way, that it still contains a database, but not in a database-like fashion (thus meaning that i'm getting rid of the .mdb file, but replacing it with another kind of file)

I hope to hear from you, that the database is going to work without problems for you. i already had 1 user that has a problem with the programs database Thx, but i'm happy do create it. i have no use for it anymore, because i already switched to xplode (for wich i'm going to create an xml-writer program)

it might be the solution to install the latest mdac

I don't know if that's indeed the problem, but i'm running sp1 (Not sp1a), but i heard that there are problems with a lot of program after the installation of sp2 (even microsoft programs have the problems)

Just came up with the same idea. so it is done. you will find it on the links page The error you get however, is a bit wierd, but i will look into it.

You can always share your idea and ask the opinion of the public for that idea, so that i will (possibly) add it to the program

i think i forgot to set a special command to dynamicly load the database. i will fix it right away Thanks. it will sure be helpfull Will look for a possibility to add the quit-confirm. but what do you mean with that browse-button? i'm currently creating a website for this small little program.

Hide the cmd.exe window, so that you can't see it when it is executing Done.

The database is already filled with some programs. (about 60 of them) It is no problem at al for me. I enjoy it. All those suggestions help me to create a better program. I have much time left at the moment, because i have still 2 weeks of vacation left. The New version is downloadable by the way. That extra field will be done in the next version. I suggest everyone to post there installpath (something like: "%systemdrive%\install\", or "%cdrom%\apps\") here, so i can add those as predefined. this will make it a lot easy-er. The Next version enhancements: (done is not yet available in the version that you download now) Extra field where you type your path (done) Entries in the main table can be edited by a double-click (done) When we click "Add" on the main window, the tabstop goes directly to the "Description" field in the "Add Command" dialog box (done) In the "Add Command" dialog box, pressing "Enter" on the keyboard should move the tabstop to the next field (done) Things for the far future: Database containing a lot of apps with switches
