I found a problem such as that one on the "second job" wich you speak of, and the solution was very simple, this may sound stupid, but are you sure that the computer doesnt have a firewall running on the background and if it has could it be blocking the communication between both computers???

I have a USB Cable modem connection and on my computer I have two ethernet cards, on my home LAN I have two computers wich will receive internet. but apearently Windows 2000 doesn't have the feature that I'd find on Windows XP wich would allow me to share the internet connection with the two ethernet cards, is there any software i could get from Micro$oft or any other company that would integrate on my W2K OS without using too much of the computer resources?

Does anyone know how to cut windows xp to the bare essencials? when i ask that i dont mean just using XPLite, i mean like, having XP kernel and IE6 only, such thing wouldnt occupy more than 200MB, but using XP lite it leaves you with a 1GB. I have a dream... Windows XP fully working with internet explorer and less than 200MB, can anyone help me to fulfill that dream?
