Unfortunately, I downloaded the version dated 2-12-2012 and i am seeing the same error. It is worth noting that the versions of windows I am creating the build on already has the patches integrated, but I want to create a new build with different tweaks and applications. Can you advise? I am running win 7 x64 and trying to create ax64 build. I am sure i downloaded updates for x64. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to build a new win 7 sp1 x66 build. I am trying to integrate post sp1 updates but I receive the following error: OOPs! The update pack is not compatible with the current Windows Arch/Platform These updates are ok with other programs. Did your new build intend to correct this issue? I really want to use your application to create my new build as it looks like it is very good. These updates are installed on the PC I am using to create the build. Any information you can provide would be great !!!!

How to install Windows from USB- WinSetupFromUSB with GUI
Viper999 replied to ilko_t's topic in Install Windows from USB
First I want to say awesome tool, but for some reason the application does not recognize my sandisk 8gb cruzer any longer. I create a new ntfs partition and format, but it still doesn't recognize the drive. Any suggestion to get the drive detected would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim -

My unattended is almost complete, but I have two issues with my Autounattend first autologon wont work, it tells me the password is wrong for the Administrator and i still get asked to create an account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. On a side note how to you disable security warnings during silent installs ? This happens for DvdFab as well as Daemon tools. I am installing a newer version than indicated in application data file. Again thanks for any assistance. Autounattend.xml Autounattend.xml -

Here is my xml file, I am trying to go fully unattended, but I get asked about security settings for IE as well as the creation of a user account. Can someone take a look and let me know what is wrong in the file? Also on another note what is the best method for installing applications and customizations for the gadget stuff? I have tried the setupcomplete.cmd as that is what I am familiar with from the XP days, but I get prompted to continue even though they are silent installers. Looks like security type stuff. Also I see folks speaking about sysprep is there a tutorial for this method ? Thanks in advance for any assistance. AutoUnattend.xml -
Does anyone know a site that will provide a listing of kb's to keep windows 7 current? I am asking as I would like to make sure I keep my unattended install up to date. Thanks in advance for your help.

Here is my appswitch file as well. I am placing all necessary apps in c:\apps\subdirectory for each application. Am I entering the entries incorrectly? Do I need to add the subdirectory for each application as it is in the c:\apps directory? Also do I need a different designation if I want them to install from the DVD ? Again thanks for your assistance. I got everything to work except the computer name as well as the apps to load automatically. I am attaching my files. I am placing the apps on the c:\apps directory, but I get an error that they were not found during the win7 installation. Can you check these files to see if you see any goof ups? I removed the key for obvious reasons. Thanks in advance. AutoUnattend.xml

I restarted the process and looked at the file Se7en_UA.ini and it is empty and remains empty all the way through and including when I hit any key to continue on to second stage where it mounts the wim file. The file is time stamped 11-27-09 and remains 0 bytes in size. I opened the file to make sure and sure enough it is empty. What I did to get a file was installed the app to a different folder and deleted the existing Se7en_UA.ini and the app created a new one which I attached. I am running windows XP and I am trying to build a windows 7 DVD. I also installed waiK because I thought it might help. Thanks for your help... Jim Se7en_UA.ini

My source os is xp sp3 32 bit and my target is win 7 professional. I tried mounting the install.wim using the right click "Mount 4" and then the "Unmount 4" both were successful. I also mounted the boot.wim using the "mount rw boot wim 2" and the "_unmount boot wim 2" and that was succesful as well. What do I need to copy to the zmountdir from C:\Se7en_UA\uaDVD ? Once I do that what is the next step? Will the application allow me to move on to create the iso ? Thanks,
