yes, i've got many error boxes which refer to "network errors" but the command line do the install (the begin of the install on my PC) silent. so it seems to work, maybe. i tested this command on my PC, but i'll test my unattended XP CD with VMware soon to see if it changes something. (i usually test the parts on my Windows, and for big changes i do the full install with VMware). i will report my results after this.

hi, I have tried to make my Winamp 5.03 Pro silent install with your recommandations, but using my own Winamp503pro.exe file. And it seems that the 7 files nammed "metXXXX.vmd" are always differents for each installation. (i notice that cause i have installed Winamp many times to avoid this error, no success). for example, this time mine are nammed : metAB10.vmd metAB20.vmd metAB2F.vmd metAB3F.vmd metAB4E.vmd metBAE2.vmd metBB11.vmd + default.vmd can you help me please ? i just want to install my Winamp 5.03 Pro without the Agent & the AVI support, but i don't know how to make it work. Perhaps i could modify your Winamp.msi in order to find & rename the 7 *.vmd but i don't know how. thx in advance.

with capital "s" it's seems to work. strange, it doesn't work with /s but works with "/S" i'd like to create a shortcut of speedfan, just after the install, in the startmenu for all users in order to launch the program on boot, is it possible ? if you know how i can do that, thx in advance

Hi guys, i'm trying to install SpeedFan 4.12 in my unattended Xp CD, but it doesn't work. i've tried : start /wait %systemdrive%\Hotfixes\SpeedFan\speedfan412.exe /s doesn't work because there is a windows which appears and i have to click on "Agree". to test, i tried : start /wait %systemdrive%\Hotfixes\SpeedFan\speedfan412.exe /silent start /wait %systemdrive%\Hotfixes\SpeedFan\speedfan412.exe /s /v/qn doesn't work, same pb, the windows appears and i must click on the "Agree" button. someone has an idea ? thx a lot.

i have the same problem, and the /s /v/qn doesn(t work on the original *.exe file. i have extracted the exe update, and i will test with it. EDIT: start /wait msiexec /i "file location\Adobe Acrobat - Reader 6.0.2 Update.msi" /qb doesn't work for me. it begins, but many "network error" appear on the installation.
