  1. I am thinking of upgrading my PC and purchasing a new one. I have some questions about SATA drives and hope someone can help me out here. 1 – On the MOBO (in general I know they are all different) does it have an option to boot from SATA as with my current setup it has IDE1/ CD-ROM/USB and so on. Or will it require special drivers loaded. 2 - If I have a an IDE drive in the same system will it or does anyone known problems with data transfer rates. Or does it just run at the IDE drive speed. If anyone has any other useful information about SATA it would be appreciated. Hail hail
  2. I have been using Office 2003 for some time now and have not had any major problems and no crashes that I can remember due to word. A lot of docs I use can be big and bulky and it works fine. Athough if you want to furture proof go for the latest. Hail Hail

  4. thanks everyone. I think I will go with the SATA to future proof a little and I might use the PC for burning DVD's so the speed might make a difference for me. I have lots of informationn now to go and get a PC now. Hail Hail to a good help this afternoon

  6. Has anyone got a good grip of the latest hardware ? I have been out the scene for a while and want to buy a new PC for gaming. I want a good machine that will cope with the latest games easily. Any review/ideas welcome. thanks

  8. Hi, Does anyone have experience of this product. Any info on ease of installation and general setup would be helpfull. Also is it easy for users to proxy to other accounts as in Novell's GroupWise or does anyone know the equiivellant in Exchange ? Also what backup software do people use ? Is the iinbuilt one any good or should I purchase a 3rd party one ? Thanks

  10. After creating my 1st slip streamed cd with many thanks to this site; the only problem i have left is a nagging dialog box. It appears when installing the hot fixes and I believe after WMP9MM2.EXE has been installed. The dialog box comes with If I OK it I get another box saying When I OK this the installation completes and windows works fine. Have I missed something stupid or does anyone else have this problem ?
