second mistake when you have a administrative installation the guide doesent say how to slipstream it this is for The Custom Installation Wizard ECHO. every thing works but this dont: ECHO. i slipsteamd office and it doesent install. the setup copy's every thing to the hd with no errors. wen procesing the cmd it fails to setup(only the office files) now this part i dont unterstand: i think i'm missing somting here setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST /qb- this is my cmd: i have a Administrative Installation can someone tell me what's wrong?

@GreenMachine 1.dont you need the ISO Creator for WinXP Pro.cmd anymore? 2.can you explain the switches you use! 3.can it be use'd with nero? if yes how i like to try this out myself your right click and MakeDataISO or MakeBootISO -

ad this to cmd: put het hotfix in: $OEM$\$1\install\hotfixes and edit this in winnt.sif if you dont have it ad the bottom: [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\install\hotfixes\hotfixes.cmd -

maybe this is something like the mdac update and cant be installed from SVCPACK.INF, or CMDLINES.TXT btw i try'd everything to, this is the only way it works(for now)

so i did the install like bonedaddy say's and it workt put the update in $OEM$\$1\install\hotfixes edit in my case this: and edit this in winnt.sif: i cant confirm for windows updates(dunno how to virtualy make a network in vmware ) so if someone would post it if this way works please do btw nice color bonedaddy 1e

@GreenMachine i found dpwsockx.dl_ and dplayx.dl_ in i386 if there were replaceded with te updated one's would this work?

well it's in DirectX90-KB839643-x86 in software uninstall in unattended but no WindowsXP-KB839643-x86,same error i did check it to it's v5.3.900 for the dll files and it must be v5.3.903 so there's no update installed

what is the difference between WindowsXP-KB839643-x86-NLD and DirectX90-KB839643-x86-NLD do i setup WindowsXP-KB839643-x86-NLD or DirectX90-KB839643-x86-NLD in my cd or use only DirectX90-KB839643-x86-NLD i dont know anymore some help please

i have 2 burners and 1 dvd rom and 4 virtual drives every drive's name is cd-rom-drive so see my prob.

is there a way to rename DVD-CD drives? i did download a vbs file from kelly's site but wen i finished the computer won't shut down anymore so is there a easy way to do this
