Hey Guys, i work for a service support team,and i use unattended installation dvd with latest driverpacks 25/02/2006.My problem is with two mainboards that use sata controllers.First is the DFI 661 FX-MLV with SIS Raid controller. The setup screen recognize the disk as SISRAID2,copies the the files and restarts to begin the installation of windows,but then i got a restart loop with blue screen.Same goes with a Sil3112 controller. Any suggestion?i'm sorry that a can't inform you with the HWIDs. Why on bts site tells about 6.03 base and chipset and vga c on information but i only download 6.02.1? thanks.

guys hi.. i have a weird problem here...after some testing something f%^&@d up and now every time i run on my pc WPI(even hasis original) i get this error in line 3,4. If i run this on another pc --no problem,nothing at all (works fine) what is wrong please!!

Djbe...you can do the following..i put all my applications to a folder APPS in my root dvd...when unattendend you call WPI as usual from $OEM$ and choose applications with %CDROM%\\APPS\\...... Then i make an extra folder with WPI in root of DVD and i built an autorun menu than calls %CDROM%\WPI\WPI.hta.Here config.js has the same code like unattended WPI %CDROM%\\APPS\\...... I think i helped you..sorry for my english ..

I tried to run WPI on an another machine with succes...i'm trying to imagine what is happening with my IE and cannot run it anymore...any suggestions please??

Oh god..i was ready to burn my DVD(%CDROM% worked like charm)......and then something got wrong,because now every time i try to launch WPI.hta i get this error... This Happens no matter if i use your original files ,or my modificated files... Internet explorer problem?Please i was so close to finish...%$#@ thanks

How can i run wpi.HTA from DVD to a foreign PC and install whatever i want.. My problem is i can't resolve the DVD drive letter...If I put 'root' in config.js tells me for an "Unknown Drive" Can u be little more specifiec with the variables?That's my only problem holding me back....HELPP....

guys there is not any files for patching txtsetup and winnt.sif including zip! only the downloaded drivers files....what to do please reply...

I made an autorun menu to launch Post Install wizard to PC's already with windows But my problem is that Post install can't resolve the DVD's drive letter.. The tests i made is that works only if DVD is in DRIVE D:...any help please? I use this: From menu i Launch start.cmd which calls WPI.HTA and in config.js i use cmd1[pn]=['%cdrom%\\setup\\xp\\progr\\Office2k3pro\\SETUP.exe...... what's the difference with 'cdrom' and 'root' ??? i was testing in Virtual Pc my unattended installation when i desided to import SATA drivers....i downloaded the last ones with the dosnet.inf and TXTsetup patch... After this i get the above error for arcdisp.c at line 1768 before the disk identification(format screen)... Any suggestions...possibly a working dosnet.inf and a txtsetup files for me? Also...i first put the original files from cd in the same directory with the Sata Patch and then copy then to i386 along with driver folders and winnt.sif OEMPNP reg... is it the OEM path too long? thanks
