  1. That nls file didnt solve the problem for me. Funny thing is all other online games work perfectly. Even a normal Vista dvd instaled and pw works.....why not with this
  2. Dont rush it Better late and good, then early and way to buggy Voya
  3. Looks neat!!! Cant wait to test it
  4. Havent seen a real anwser to this so I will try... It deffently has nothing to do with the driverpacks. Did you use any other utilities except for ryanvms stuff and driverpacks? and in wich order. Be sure you did the driverpacks last. The install and repair stuff are files in the i386 that can be remove either by yourself or with tools like nLite. But the driverpacks dont remove those or change anything to it. I made mine and it was still there. Btw I agree with all replys of the other users.. Sorry I dont post much in the forums...although I read much of it (since the start) Voya
  5. I am sure he is busy with it Dont rush it Bashrat!! Your stuff is good as always Voya
  6. Thats strange indeed cos I have a nforce2 chipset too and all works fine with 5.10 Only problem is with all packs I tried before, that sometimes it doesnt install the nvatabus driver. It has to do something with the driversigningpolicy and thats odd cos it shouldn't
  7. I know your problem You got the same hwid as me and I used to tell this to Bâshrat too if he still remembers It loads the raid driver instead of the normal one. Its easy to fix on your windows cd by editing txtsetup.sif en place the sil3112 before sil3112r under scsi.load Dont do this if you have a raid setup
  8. yeah 6.35 is indeed the newest since 11th october so Bâshrat his pack was before that. dont rush Bâshrat keep up the good work !
  9. Ok done that. 1) Doesnt work still uses sil3112r (apperently the driver itself sees the controller then when its loaded ) 2) Works!!! 3) Works too, cos if one of the above worked this should too 4) Trying this option too: add my hwid (inlcuding rev) above the sil3112r's and not change the load order. (busy with this and will change post after I tested it) Ok that didnt work (not that I thought it would, just wanted to rule that out cos for some odd reason it still uses sil3112r even it doesnt have my hwid, so keeping that in account I tried this. But it didnt work ) So the only think that really does the difference is the load order from this: si3112r = Si3112r.sys,4 si3112 = Si3112.sys,4 to this: si3112 = Si3112.sys,4 si3112r = Si3112r.sys,4 Note: I cant use the sil3112r driver when in normal mode (base). I know some can but mine gives problems in gui mode (even after install) It works fine though in raid mode (doh its the raid driver for this ) Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  10. Hmz.... As I remember this problem occured with me too. Didnt pay much attention to it cos I always have a backup copy of my winnt.sif Will try and see if it occures again like it happend to him. Greetz VoYa...
  11. Yeah you did overlook it Look here Only thing I did was that I let the sil3112 load before the sil3112r Maybe that can bring problems if it was in raid mode. But I am not sure of that need to test that first before I can say anything about it. Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  12. Oki doki But here it doesnt install at gui setup or after that. It still uses the standard windows drivers But thats one thing only everything else is working correctly now No bsods anymore after changinf the txtsetup.sif myself. Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  13. Lol Nice topic indeed robnjay Yeah your right as I posted in the previous post that when I change it to load sil3112 before sil3112r all problems are solved for me. But indeed it can bring other problems with it. I have another question though. Does your masstorage driver not inlcude sw nvidia drivers? Cos mine nforce2 ultra 400 defently works with the newest drivers from the nforce 4. I am working with those now without a problem. But your pack doesnt install it on this machine. I have to do it manually. Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  14. Lol. I had somewhat simelar problem with my second pc. And yes it is too crazy. What do the companies do with there drivers?!?! I dont heave any problems with nlite or bts packs other then the sil3112 problem. I can make an iso with all the things I want except the masstorage pack and it runs perfectly when I either use nlite for the sil3112 driver or the F6 option. I only happens with the driver pack And I dont understand why it still uses the sil3112r driver after the new base update cos the txtsetup.sif doesnt have my hwid with the sil3112r anymore?!?!? So talk about something strange I was busy with it the whole night yesterday. Stil no solution found. Edit: Btw Bâshrat the sil3112r driver loads before the sil3112 in textmode setup. Can that be a problem? Still strange cos it does not have my hwid. Edit2: I solved the problem but just letting load sil3112 before sil3112r (by editing txtsetup.sif after the run_me). But wont that give problems for raid versions? Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  15. Strange... To be sure I will add my hwids here again. =========== PCI devices =========== PCI\D347PRT\0000 : D347PRT SCSI Controller PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4152&SUBSYS_C0021043&REV_00\4&102AC5BC&0&00F0: RADEON 9600 Series (Omega 2.6.53) PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4172&SUBSYS_C0031043&REV_00\4&102AC5BC&0&01F0: RADEON 9600 Series Secondary (Omega 2.6.53) PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_31121095&REV_02\4&3B1D9AB8&0&6840: Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATALink Controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0060&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A4\3&13C0B0C5&0&08: PCI standard ISA bridge PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0064&SUBSYS_0C111458&REV_A2\3&13C0B0C5&0&09: NVIDIA nForce PCI System Management PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0065&SUBSYS_50021458&REV_A2\3&13C0B0C5&0&48: NVIDIA nForce2 ATA Controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0067&SUBSYS_50041458&REV_A4\3&13C0B0C5&0&10: Standard OpenHCD USB Host-controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0067&SUBSYS_50041458&REV_A4\3&13C0B0C5&0&11: Standard OpenHCD USB Host-controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0068&SUBSYS_50041458&REV_A4\3&13C0B0C5&0&12: Standard Enhanced PCI naar USB-hostcontroller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_006C&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A3\3&13C0B0C5&0&40: PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01E0&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&00: PCI standard host CPU bridge PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01E8&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&F0: NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01EB&SUBSYS_0C1710DE&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&01: NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400 Memory Controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01EC&SUBSYS_0C1710DE&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&04: NVIDIA nForce2 Memory Controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01ED&SUBSYS_0C1710DE&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&03: NVIDIA nForce2 Memory Controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01EE&SUBSYS_0C1710DE&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&02: NVIDIA nForce2 Memory Controller PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01EF&SUBSYS_0C1710DE&REV_C1\3&13C0B0C5&0&05: NVIDIA nForce2 Memory Controller PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_10\4&3B1D9AB8&0&5840: Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family Gigabit Ethernet NIC PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_00531102&REV_03\4&3B1D9AB8&0&4840: Creative SB Audigy PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_4001&SUBSYS_00101102&REV_00\4&3B1D9AB8&0&4A40: OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_7003&SUBSYS_00401102&REV_03\4&3B1D9AB8&0&4940: Creative Game Port 22 matching device(s) found. =========== USB devices =========== USB\ROOT_HUB\4&2278021B&0 : USB-hoofdhub USB\ROOT_HUB\4&FBE5176&0 : USB-hoofdhub USB\ROOT_HUB20\4&2E92105F&0 : USB-hoofdhub USB\VID_046D&PID_C01D\5&192CE995&0&1 : Logitech USB MX510 Optical Mouse 4 matching device(s) found. Notice its a rev02 one. I looked in the txtsetup.sif myself and you indeed only put it with the nonraid. Now I am stunned. I tried again and it really shows sil3112r when hes scanning the harddisks in textmode setup. I will look again and see what else I can try to fix it. But I am pretty sure it loads the sil3112r. Greetz VoYaGeRTM Edit: Or maybe it is the nforce2 who gives the problem??? Cos I cant really tell what gives that error...cos there is no log or anything that shows the error and/or what causes it. But it shouldnt be that. Cos it runs ok without your masstorage packages (all other dps still there) and use nlite for the sil3112. TXTSETUP.ZIP
  16. Thanx I will try them now Greetz VoYaGeRTM Edit: I think I have to dissapoint you. Its still using the sil3112r driver instead of the nonraid one. To be clear when I get the bsod 0x7B. Its after the first reboot (after the text setup). Booting into the gui part of the setup. So it does see the drive in the textmode setup (with the sil3112r driver!!) and copies the files to the sata drive. But after the reboot I get the bsod. I have the nforce2 ata controller also enabled but it only has the dvdwriter on it not even a single harddrive is there. I will try to edit the files and see if I can find the problem for me. Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  17. Hello again, Bâshrat the Sneaky when will you come with an update for the masstorage? Or is my problem fixed also with the new base? Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  18. Yeah indeed it was. Instead of using the sil3112 driver it used the sil3112r one. I will try as soon as you put the new pack out And thanx again Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  19. Yeah if I do it with nlite or xpcreate or by myself it has no problems at all. But as soon as I use the masstorage pack it goes bsod. I would like to use that pack cos I have more than 1 pc and I just want to make a universal boot image I can use on every pc I want. So actually I want to use it Only it doesnt work here I hope Bâshrat can solve the problem. and btw I love your work Bâshrat !! I'm looking into it also and try to fix it by myself. Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  20. I got that same problem with my sata controller onboard. The same bsod error. I discribed it here. Greetz VoYaGeRTM Edit: It all works fine without the masstorage pack and use a floppy or thru nlite itself.
  21. I dont think the problem lies in the iso itself. I burned it on a dvd+r and it boots from it and copies all the files by itself. When rebooting and run longhorn for the first time to startup and finish the install. I got the same error. The bootup logo appears about 5 sec before that. I think the problem is with the sata drivers (mine is a sil3112). Vista(longhorn) doesnt have those (very odd cos its used much for onboard cards) so I use a floppy with the latest drivers. It reconizes all sata drives. No I can choose a partition. After copying all the files it reboots and get the bsod. Someone know anyway around this? Btw this iso I used is the one from msdn 32bit version. And no I dont have any ide drive in my pc except for de dvd burner. Greetz VoYaGeRTM
  22. I got this problem too. It only ocours when I use your masstorage pack. When I use a floppy disk with the diver all goes well. When I integrate the driver myself with nlite it goes well :. When using you pack it even selects the raid version of the driver . Its not in raid mode but in base mode using the nonraid bios.
