  1. I used : OnePiece's Internet Explorer 7 True Addon w/updates from WinCert.Net on a Virtual Machine and don't have any updates for IE7. The machine I'm on now is using SP3 v5503 and nothing is integrated (from original Dell CD) and I got this update thru automatic updates and it worked ok. I noticed my custom mshtml.dll was restored to the original after the update. Checked the version #'s and my VM had the highest so...

  3. So with this tool... I can make a customized version of shell32.dll and then compress it using the above then copy that file to my XP_SourceCDi386 to replace then I can make a bootable disc to install windows and it'll be the shell32 that I customized? It'd be a nice feature for nlite to include pop-ups for overwriting newer ver. files with older...
  6. What are the latest versions of IE7 and WMP11? Two files that I look at are: iexplore.exe: 7.0.6000.20772 and wmp.dll: 11.0.5721.5237 Reason being because the "About" option in the app just gives the installer version from the M$ site. Anyone else have higher?

    is this true?

Did anyone notice that Softpedia offers their own download for the final sp3? Are they allowed to do that?
  8. I've wondered the same, but just thought that M$ updated the installers for IE and WMP at their download center... It's an assumption...
