I've memorized the whole guide by now... I've made multi-boot CDs so many times by now that I must have read that guide about 10 or 15 times... Now its just stuck in my head!

#1: Don't use AIM. #2: Install Ad-Aware and run it... It should get rid of whatever's causing the problem... (probably WinTangent) #3: Also install Spybot Search and Destroy. It will get rid of whatever Ad-Aware left out. Good luck!

You should code your HTML according to W3C standards... This way, it will work with any browser: http://validator.w3.org/ Take my website for example... Its valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional... It will work with any browser, and there's a small surprise for IE users!
