I was using remote desktop from a 98 machine to an XP machine, and my 98 machine was pretty fast while using it! BTW: My 98 machine is P3 @ 330MHz!

I want to add a Flash (.swf) image to my signature. It keeps giving me an error message. I keep typing http://joker.servehttp.com/joker.swf because thats where the image is located. Anyone know what's wrong?

I tried using ports 21 and 80 for FTP and HTTP. But it still doesn't forward to my private IP. Any more ideas?

There's a couple of Linux computers in the back of my school lounge. They work pretty well! Its not unstable, never freezes, and never crashes. Maybe you could dual-boot Red Hat or Mandrake with XP. Its worth a try...

i guess your proggie doesn't support the switch-user interface. it doesn't even support some visual styles. you might wanna work on that.

I have a Linksys DSL Router with a firewall included with it (Built-in to router). I have set port forwarding on my router so that people that access my FTP access it on my computer. The problem is, it dont work...Any ideas?

I use the switch users interface whenever I leave the computer, just to save time when i log on again. could this be a problem? but all the people on the computer are admins, and no, i haven't tried a system restore.

The thing is, I don't want to built a small machine. What's the use of 500MB HDs if you can't install anything else but Win95 and Win98 without having any problems? There are motherboards, 500MB HDs, modems, video cards, printer ports, floppy drives, sound cards, and keyboards. This stuff is like 6-7 years old. Now, some suggestions on pricing?
