Ah. Extract the nero installer, and run NAR, remove the stuff you want removed (Dont make an SFX of it). Then make a shortcut to setupx.exe. For parameters add. /i SERIALNUMBER="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" EULAACCEPTED="1" INSTAPP="ALL" And see if it installs.

Dont put it into WPI until you have tested it on your computer first. Run the SFX and open the task manager, It will show it extracting, then the nero installer will open. Just remember, it takes a while to install too (15-20 min).

You do not need quotes around the serial. For the disc, does the installer unpack, or is every file on the disc?

What programs and languages are you installing, ill try and make an installer and test it.

Update NAR 1.2 Fuzed everything together. Fixed acouple bugs. HowdyDoody Try the new version.

Do you have the new NAR? If so uninstall nero and clean your temp files.

Check in program files to see if it installed, and did you set your serial in config.txt?

Is godaddy like Namecheap.com, does it support dynamic IP updating?

I dont really care if it has a GUI or not, and I will be hosting it at home.

At aranmalo Have you used the updated tools? If not, re-extract the installer and start over just to make sure. Update Made a new extractor.

At aranmalo The new instructions are on the first page. The folder is 402MB's because you havent made it into an SFX yet, when you create the SFX, it will compress it to a smaller size. Thanks lucho667, it will just get easier from now on.

I will look into that rite now elajua. Edit: It was an error with NAR-LR, try the new version. Update Fixed NAR-LR. No more error when installing languages. Need to read the new instructions.

Edited first post, only UniExtract and 7zip can open the Nero.exe (So far).

Yes, what rick says sounds true. It works fine for me. boooggy, I will implement NAR-LR into NAR sometime this week, I need to find time. There are acouple problems with NAR-LR, im trying to fix them. Will post update soon.

Hi cybpsych, NAR 1.1 removes all of the un needed stuff (e.g dx redist, windows installer 3.1, vcredist and ASK toolbar, ect.). I have gotten my installer to around 63MB's. NAR stands for Nero Application Remover.

Update NAR 1.1 Just made up a quick language remover. I will implement NAR-LR with the NAR tomorrow sometime. Tweaked NAR a bit, Added more stuff to remove.
