  1. That's what I intend to do: update this as regular as possible. I'll add a date and version to my previous post. If someone wanto get it easy, he won't mess with building it, he can just try my nLite addon:) Besides, I really understand your point of view. =====Edit===== Is there no way to add variables?
  2. It's applicable for both Home and Pro. There arent many differences between them, like between Vista editions. The only "Pro only updates" are IIS hotfixes AFAIK... =======Edit======== Beside, how much time does it take to install those hotfixes through SVCPACK.INF? It must take ages to do that...
  3. Here's the nLite addon version 1.0 from 02.01.2008 with MSdownloads (to install at T-13 from SVCPACK.INF)
  4. Power Packer might be useful. It allows to create one system with more than one winnt.sif... Hope it helps:)
  5. The point is Silent .NET Maker creates SFXes form standard redistributables, to make it easier for everyone. Using external software makes it even more complicated... What about .NET 3.5?
  6. Maybe you would try to include this and this in your pack...? Would be cool. This might be also interesting, as well as that... What do you think about that?
  7. But did you take a look at them? They look great, bring a lot of functionality, and are esy to install.. Besides, may I help with polish tranlation?
  8. How did you slip MSP's into MSI's? I've extracted packages, then I did start /wait FOR %f IN (*.msp) DO msiexec /p %f /a [name_of_the_msi] in the folder with MSP's. =====edit===== @Tomcat76 Maybe you could just code Silent .NET Maker to extract .NET 3.5 redistributable (dotnetfx35.exe with 7 zip and then, to patch MSI's with MSP's. I'm not sure if it's a good idea..
  9. But after integration of supported cabs I have to istall few ActiveX controls to use Microsoft Update...
  10. Oh, and maybe you would try to include this and this in your pack...? Would be cool. This might be also interesting, as well as that...
  11. The redistributable with .NET 3.5 contains .NET2.0, .NET 3.0 SP1 AND 3.5 That's why it's big. BTW it says, that it needs to download something from the Internet, which is not actually truth, as it can be installed without an Internet connection. But it DOESN'T contain .NET 1, which you have to download and install separately. Refer to this thread.
  12. Of course I did. To no avail...
  13. I have created Polish language file, but it's not fully translated. If anyone would like to help....there it is Languages.INI Languages.INI
  14. After running Microsoft Update I found some cabs (I think some contain ActiveX controls, that were installed during update & genuine check. Could those be slipstreamed with Hfslip in the future? Their names: wsus3setup.cab wuident.cab wsusscn2.cab I can upload them if needed...
  15. Here's the German, English, and Polish MCE Winntbbu.dl_ in one file: http://rapidshare.de/files/38180362/WINNTBBU.7z.html
  16. Hi! Your script is a great tool! I have a few questions: 1. Did you figured out how to integrate .NET 3.5? 2. How to extract the ".NET 3 extras" (the runtimes/services/installers, that have been added after .NET 2.0) 3. Could these extras be packaged separately? (One package with .NET 1 and .NET 2, and other with ".NET 3/3.5 extras"), cause I want to have 1st package for use with systems older than XP, and the 2nd only as a completion/increment of the 1st one. Thanks in advance;)
  17. This is the link to German sp3 rc1 on Microsoft Website http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...9c3c3af5fea.exe
