  1. May not be this but i've seen that quite a few times when there is a mbr based virus, if that is so boot from a clean boot disk and type fdisk /mbr. That may help it, although it is possible it may make it worse.
  2. I must admit this is a funny thread, i've been reading this one for a while and i've got to say he is trying to sell something. Maybe not the program per say but he is trying to make himself out to be an expert on something. Probably so that when the company he works for decides to gratiously solicit you/your company he can get you to say yeah the live meeting looked impressive even though you've never tried the program yourself.
  3. Have you by any chance tried using a different web browser to check whether this is a problem with IE itself or Windows?
  4. Hi, If you go to Help and about does it by any chance have nothing for the information as in as in no version number, cipher strength, etc.
  5. Hi, First of all thanks for all of your undoubtably hard work. I was trying the UpdateChecker_V506.cmd file and for some reason it keeps downloading the 5.0.5.2 version of the base package and replaces 5.0.6. any reason that you can think of that it may do that. Thanks again
  6. I actually had a friend try this out, and it seems to happen only when it's windows with sp1, sp2 works.
  7. Yes, i'm in the windows root, i've tried in the i386 directory as well. i've also tried to use subst to try to get it to see the windows root as a stand alone drive. Is there some other check in the program that may be tripping it.
  8. I've tried restarting the program, i've also tried restarting the system. when that didn't work i tried clearing out temp files. It made no difference.
  9. Nice program, I tried it a couple times. First time worked with no problem, everytime after it would say that there was no dosnet.inf eventhough there was indeed one.
  10. Hi If your talking about what i think you are you might want to see if there is a desktop.html in the desktop folder in your profile and delete it if it's there and for the display there is a registry fix you might want to try which i have attached. i don't know if this will work in your case but it worked on a simular problem i had. desktop.reg
