hi! i've just purchased lotr bfme II. i installed the game & patched it up to 1.01. but when i try to run the game, it crashes with an error.

nlited xp using ryanvm & yup - some drivers. i've tried windows server 2003 & it's fully working. 'm going to stick with it for a while. tnx guys for ur help.

my windows is set to already autologon. when the loading preferences appears or just the welcome screen, everything freezes. as of now it's my 5th time to reformat & install windows & still no luck dunno what's causing it to hang. even when i boot it loading the last config that worked. as of now, i'm using this pc in safemode -- works but who would want it always like this i've also tried their suggestion to disable non-microsoft services & drivers. it keeps freezing when the welcome screen appears. i have: p4 630 asus p5gl-mx 2 x 1gb geil 1 maxtor sata 1 maxtor pata 1 liteon dvdrw 512 radeon x800xl winfast tv tuner in the bios there is this hardware prefetcher & adjacent cache --- in the cpu config. what does it do? please help.

i did let it but still no luck. could it be the board or the hd? i tried reformatting it again but i got stuck at t-10 then the usual hang at logn.

hi! i've purchased 2 gb (1gb x 2) geil memory and when i installed it on my p4 board -- asus p5rd1-vm w/ p4 630, the bootup post shows only 1.5gb, also through the sys info in the bios & windows. how come? is any fix for this? i've transferred it to my other rig wherein it supposed to appear 3gb - 2gb geil (1gb x 2) + 1gb (2 x 512) but it only show 2.5gb - - - board is asrock 939dualsata. please help. thanks.

i have a prob... seems like my +12V has dropped to 7.5V+. how do i solve this? i have the generic psu. i've also tried with hec 335 but still remains the same. i have a p4 630 with asus p5rd1-vm board 1gb ram x800xl & 2x ide 1x sata 1x dvdrw. what's the consequence? i'm planning to buy a new psu by next week though.

hi! i've installed c&c generals zero hour on my machine and played skirmish. it lags a log during playtime. i mean like it will ran so slow!!! my specs: a64 3200+@2.2, 2gb RAM, 512 x800xl. the former c&c generals ran fine and fast --- real fast even with all high settings. but zero hour seems to lag a lot even on network games. at start it rans fast but as the game progessess -- the map get filled up, it slows down 'til like 2fps. how do i ease the lagging? thanks in advance.

i've checked the bios. no network adapters is detected under xp and none of it is listed under device manager.

hi i just had an old dell inspiron 4000. can anybody help me on how to enable the lan interface for this laptop? it has an nic modem w/ a lan beside it. it does not have the option on the bios. the only option available there was disabling the modem. how do i enable the lan? thanks.

thanks. i figured it out. just copy the all of the contents of the 6 discs wherein the 2-6 disc just the folder contents and on the 2nd disc, copy the ENCDSCID.INI and edit it. change the number of disc to 1.

hi! i have encarta 2006 cd version. i want to convert it to dvd. is there anyway i can do it? i've tried copying it to 1 folder and running setup from it still it ask's for cd 2....

nope. like instead of opening up run or cmd then typing iexpress... you'll just right click on a folder pr a drive and firing up iexpress through the context menu. registry?

how do i add iexpress on the context menu? e.g. right click on folder the open up iexpress. thanks.
