Not good. Modifying shell32.dll leads to crashes with RP7 (and maybe without RP7 too) very often (Lupus suffers from this crash, for example). That's why imageres.dll was born. Trust me, it works just fine! I have to test it a lttle bit more....but until now i didn't encounter any prblem with RP7...

Here is the way to install it... If you look at the background of Internet Explorer's toolbar, you'll see a very low profile bitmap. You can actually change this bitmap just like you can change Window's background (well, maybe not so easily!). * Run "Registry Editor" (Run "RegEdit.exe" or "RegEdt32.exe") * Select: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\Toolbar * Run "Internet Explorer" * Select "View | Options | General" * Uncheck "Background bitmap" checkbox * Switch back to the Registry Editor * Add following parameter as a "REG_SZ" type: BackBitmap * Value of the "BackBitmap" parameter should be set to the path to your bitmap (C:\WINNT\SETUP.BMP for example) * Switch back to "Internet Explorer" * Check "Background bitmap" * Click on "OK" Now you should see the newly specified bitmap on your Internet Explorer's toolbar.

You are right in a certain way.... I will work more at this theme and it will be awesome. I'm waiting for the new skinning engine.

Rodger, when you try to increase the size of the taskbar font size it doesn't fit anymore into the taskbar bitmap. I've tested your problem with the font size 12,14,16 and it worked. What you have to do it's to go in the Windows\Resources\Longhorn 4008\and in here edit the skin.ini and in the Taskbar size put 35 or higher, but i have to warn you that messing up the default values of the skin.ini can bring some bugs to the skin like in this case straching too much. It works in this way but I dont recomand it. I'm glad you like the themes!

Dblake1 can i give you an advice... the theme it's not bad, i mean the ideea, but you need to work more on this theme, i really like the taskbar and you really must concentrate from there. I hope you will take this advice as constructive one.

I use an existing theme from Resources, I make the elements, or port them from another skin, I edit the skin.ini how I want the theme to be (with aero buttons, the size of the tskbar etc) and after the theme it's finishet I save the new theme with a brand new name in the registry an rename the theme folder the same as the registry save. That's it! This is the quickest way to make a theme! LukeSkillz explained very well! B)
