The project it's made for english version...on another versions i'm not sure it works like on english ... This is ver.0.1 (the base), arround this now i'm trying to improve more and more my project (new boot logos, new shutdown dialog.... In the future i'll try to make some icon packs for it (like i said before...tango, crystal...) I've made an theme XP theme for how like the classic view of Windows- whithout Lameskin engine. http://rapidshare.com/files/90121899/XP_Renovatio.reg I downloaded tango icons and i tested to see how it looks...and i must say it looks great.

Good news..i've finished the first version(step1-the fundation) of my project and i really want some testers.....so here it is. It's archived mode and u need IE6 and unofficial sp2.1a installed on your machine for this to work. To install run 1.bat, after that an inf installer will proceed. Why this rush?? Because i'll be out of town for a few days...so....here it is: http://rapidshare.com/files/89704178/Renovatio_0.1.rar In the future...when i learn more about scripts and other stuff i'll make some icon packs for this project(when i'll finish the entire project,this is only step one). The Windows Renovatio uses vista icons.

It will be soon, in a week, something like that.

I'm almost done..... This first Renovatio version will change 80% of the windows icons and bitmaps. I have decided to let this style for the webview: See you soon!

The work on the icons it's 90% ready and the bitmaps 70%.

I understand what you are saying...in my project i have other versions of those files (most of them from win200 and winme), but i must say i didn't had any problems (now i'm testing my project and improving some stuff and it's working good).

Now i'm working on 32 bit dialog images.....and new dialogs. B)

Thanx for the suggestions guys, but like marxo said, i like vistaish icons. I'm workng to the files icons, and i have something like this: And here it's a snap of the icons in large style.

Here is the icon design for my Renovatio project (i've finished creating some icons). I will try to make the best in 16 bit mode and of course in 32 bit mode. 2222.bmp 444.bmp
