StartAllBack does not alter custom theme... unless it's Aero.msstyles

Yet, as you can see with the pictures, SAB does it
Design "uses" SAB and no more Aero.msstyles with SAB 3.6

I did several tests, with SAB 3.5.7, with SAB 3.6, without SAB, and only SAB 3.6 modifies the "theme" (OK without SAB and SAB 3.5.7)

    Thanks for your help

    StartAllBack 3.6 Preview

    Hello

With this version, some designs have changed in the explorer
It looks like it's using W11's default theme, while we're using a custom theme

    SAB 3.5.7 (Custom theme) :

    SAB 3.6 (default theme ?) :

How to have the custom theme with 3.6 ?

In the meantime, me, I'm going back with 3.5.7

    Thanks

Google DontUsePowerShellOnWinX. It's supposed to be in HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

It works with classic taskbar only

Oops, indeed it works with the classic taskbar (by default)
Thanks, for a long time I wanted to replace with Command Prompt

    It doesn't work in 22H2 version 22621. 1192 build

    Indeed, it does not work

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack]
    "DontUsePowerShellOnWinX"=dword:00000001

@Tihiy Possible to resolve this ?

    Thanks

I don't understand what you always have to criticize about SAB and what all doesn't work. I have had no problems for what feels like an eternity and I am currently running Windows 11 DEV Insider Build 25247.1000. Turn off your 1000 additional tools for the appearance of Windows, then SAB can also work reasonably. Here in Germany we have a saying that says: "Many cooks spoil the broth" Apart from that, Microsoft has been working for several weeks on a new taskbar that brings here and there from home already times problems with it. Before I activate SAB, I always deactivate all special functions that the taskbar may have activated so that it has a state like a new installation. Then only activate the SAB and possibly make changes

In the best of worlds "YES", but sometimes we have to use several software :D
For example, I (and others) always use ONE to have the "groups" option
Asked several times by several people if it is possible to integrate it into SAB but never had an answer

If you are talking about the option also present in ONE, I asked it quite a while ago, never got an answer

Like the weird bug (or novelty of SAB), to add Powershell entries in the right click of the Start Menu while not present when SAB is uninstalled (this menu is custom),
So this is not a new Windows behavior :D

To confirm that SAB does not behave "correctly" with Windows

    With SAB a6aa.jpg

And if we add a 'shortcut' in this menu, sometimes some do not appear

It would be better if SAB could just read the contents of the corresponding folders (like before)

@Tihiy, any chance you'd consider adding the 'classic drive groupings' functionality that ExplorerPatcher has? I've been using both EB and SAB since I moved to Windows 11 but in 22H2 the incompatibilities are getting too much (plus they seemingly unf***ed alt+tab) so I've uninstalled EP.

Yeah, Terminal/Powershell/CMD will be forced on you now.

    Ok :(

So there is no possibility in SAB to modify this behavior ?
If in the "Group 3" directory I do not have these entries

It bothers us to have these entries when we had removed them :D

Arf, I'll stick with 3.4.4 for now.

Not possible for SAB to just "read" the contents of group directories 1, 2 and 3 ?
Or be able to remove PowerShell (manually myself) ?

    Thanks

There is a secret option on Explorer page. Double-click area around 'Details page on the bottom'.

Thanks, I double clicked everywhere to find :D

    And for  right-click menus ?

    StartAllBack 3.4

Underlined are the changes since 3.3.9d

    Thanks for the update

Possible to have a option to enable/disable "Explorer Command bar restyled, new icons" ?

And I had already asked but did not see an answer
Possible to have the default color (background color) of Windows for the right-click menus (taskbar, start menu) ?
Default menu may be blurry ?

    whitout SAB :

Can you download debugview, open it, restart Explorer and attach its output? Do you have any font tweakers or shell enhancements?

    Also try http://startisback.com/StartAllBack_setup.exe

Yep seems the disabling doesn't work fully, try http://startisback.com/StartAllBack_setup.exe

ClearType was never there, as they're acrylic

@Tihiy It's good, thanks so much for your great work :thumbup

You were able to look for the right click menu of the taskbar and start menu (have the same color with the original windows (without SAB)) ?

EDIT: I had not restarted explorer.exe, it's like the beta versions in fact :(
