Already did as I stated a few posts back and same problem with the only the folders being there. -
Anyone haveing the **** explorer refresh bug? Some tweak here is causing it. This does not work either or any thing close to it: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/628/ You know like for example if u delete a file and it goes to the receycle bin, well explorer should refresh automatticly so the icon changes to the full and then when you delte it goes back to empty icon of course. Well this is not happening since its not refreshing. And its very very annorying since its not just the recycle bin. Thats just an example. Thanks for any help, Will

I for one copy exe via batch: COPY /Y "%systemdrive%\install\Applications\MSNMessenger\msnmsgr.exe" "%ProgramFiles%\MSN Messenger"

Many irc servers are banning users who use XDCC Catcher. Just so you know.

Slipstreaming Windows Media Player 10
war59312 replied to Obliviator's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Hey, Here is a newer Wmp.dll. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=889858 This is for the installer. Not sure about the download from microsoft. Probally needs this too. And for those wondering Wmvcore.dll is already the latest: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=887078 So just extract to i386 folder. Download this: http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/3...858-x86-enu.exe And etract to a new folder and take out wmp.dll and then use this or do it manually so u have Wmp.DL_ : Compression Bin: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...&hl=compression Now I have not tested this yet so not sure what wmp will say if u update just that file but according to microsofts web site it should be fine. About to test in a min but got to go to sleep so post results in morning if some one does not post before then. Take Care, Will PS: Saves another 520kb. lol -
You can try this: To unregister: start > run command > type - regsvr32 /u mydocs.dll Then go here C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents and here C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents and delete the these folders. ----------------------------------------------------------------- To register again: start > run > type - regsvr32 mydocs.dll Thats also how you can get rid of the other stupid folders like my pictures and my music, etc. cya, Will

Slipstreaming Windows Media Player 10
war59312 replied to Obliviator's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Yes you do not edit the file if you download the setup. You simply right click on it and do extract to X:\i386 over rideing all the other files. I have tested this with Rayns 1.04 and worked great and just about to test 1.05. Sure it will be fine. oh just notice u can run it to but i always etract using winrar hehe oh and just so u know when i tested with 1.04 i used nlite too...do not remove wmp 9.0!!!!.....whats the point since its overwritten with 10.0.....to me it sounds like you would be removing 10 if u did that....or even if u do 10...after removing 9.0 the files are coming right back so again pointless... And yes it would be nice to have the cat files. If i only could do it myself. Not enough time and enegry to learn atm. Just started college again. Four weeks off is not enough. -

integrating .net framework into my xp cd?
war59312 replied to pcportal's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
I would like to intergrate .net 1.1 sp1 was well. And yea I mean intergrate not install afterwords. Intergrating is different than slipstreaming people. Though I am using slipstream method atm but it wold be nice to intergrate it so its install during windows setup. -
Well I finally figured it out. hehe Three registy places: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Appearance] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager] So set your theme you wish to use. Then log off and log back on. Then run regedit and export those three keys.
