Hi, Some new little problem! When I click My Assistant,instead of opening it,I get ''Error on Page'' at the lower left end of the page! This is new.Any idea what has suddenly caused this? Thanks.

Some motherboard have a vocal diagnostic, check for that message in the manual, it will tell you much more than any reply here. Thanks Ponch, I checked the Manual,and there does not appear to be such a ''Vocal Diagnostic'' tool.I'll keep looking though.

Hi All, Now I really have doozy of a computer problem! Yesterday I was in hurry,and because I could'nt shut down the computer the regular way with my Mouse etc..I just cut the power off.Now I've done this once before without any ill effects.This morning when I pressed the power button,the computer seemed to be booting normally,but within seconds,the Screen remained black,and some kind of short gibirish message that I can't make out started repeating itself over and over! I proceeded to check connections and Sound Card seating properly etc..I disconnected the Hard Drive,but I still got thar eary message.Of course if I unplug the Speaker wire to the Sound Card it stops.I'm wondering whether the Mainboard is screwed up or whatever else? Can anyone help me out with this problem? Thank you . The installed Computer OS is,Windows XP Pro. VAN

Not all people seem to use it that mush as "we" do indeed. When you play Diablo 2 every day for 2 hours you will be happy if it gets an age of 2 years . Logitech gives 5 years on some of there mice... I don't play games,but I'm on the Internet 3 hours a day,so maybe I was lucky it lasted 3 years in fact! Yeah,I'm headed to Logitech,to see if I can get something suitable,at the right price.Thanks.

Hi Kel, I paid $50. on sale back in 05,so I expected longer life than 3 years!However that's how things are today.Right now I can buy a Logitech LX5 for $10. (Reduced by $40.) an older model I know,but if it does the same thing as my original mouse then that's the way to go for me.Thanks

Hi, I've been using Microsoft ''Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2'' since jan 2005 and up to now,it has worked as expected.But recently the ''right click button'' is not responding as before.I have to really drive it down hard,for it to work properly.I gather it's at the end of it's life after 3 years! I'm going to buy a new one,but I'd like to know advantages (If Any) between a Wireless or Laser type Mouse ! I'd love to hear of someones experience with a Laser type Mouse,and whether they'd recommended it over a Wireless one.Thanks. Van

Hi All, I don't know what's going on recently.Too darn often,when I download a Free program,it comes in as either PHP,1 File or 2 File,and of course I can't open the application.I usually get them as either ZIP or Application type,and of course,no problem to open them ! What can I do to fix this? Very annoying.Thanks in advance.

Hi, I know how to use the "Quote" thing correctly,but although i've attempted to use "Quote+" a few times,I did'nt because,each time it appeared as a full "Quote" in the Preview Pane. Often times a Thread/Posting is fairly large,and like many of you that do it properly,I would like to just Quote a couple of lines or so! Can someone provide How to details on this? Thanks.

Hi All, Just to update my Oct 10 thread,I want to advise that all is well now. I'd been trying to use the Win XP Pro OS setup disk in my "D" DVD Drive,and for unknown reason i could'nt go very far.Then just for the heck of it,I tried it in my E cd drive,and to my great surprise I was able to reinstall,partition etc...Thanks again for all those that tried to help. You probably haven't reinstalled your specific drivers like graphic card, sound, and maybe motherboard (chipset) and CPU. You'll have to find out what model they are and install them to optimize the performances of your computer. Don't forget you need drivers "for Win98". Hi Ponch, Looks like we solved the problem easily,as per Mijzelf's ssuggestion. I was pretty sure I had reinstalled all the Drivers,for what you suggested above,when I reinstalled the Win 98se OS.Thanks for your input anyway. VAN
