Well if you have rights to use it you must have purchased it at some point in time. Which means that a serial had to of been issued. If it was a pre-installed OS then check the side or back of the system for the serial. If you bought it with Vista but own a copy of XP you should still have a serial for it to allow for activation. Unless there is something in there i am missing about how you are licensed to use the software (XP).

IT should be able to be done. The faster stick would just work at the slower speed. As stated above make sure the timings are all right. Exchange it if you can. But if not just make sure the timings are the same and it should work just fine.

I dont believe it can be accomplished. Since XP and Vista are based off 2 totally different kernels i dont think you can just downgrade. I think you would have to install XP Pro. Which would require it own serial. That is the only way i know of to do it at least.

From what i remember hearing you can activate as many times as you want on the same machine. As long as you dont make any hardware changes that would constitute a new activation. Such as mobo and CPU. So you should be able to do it as many times as needed. But in total you should have only 3 total activations. So basically 3 changes.

I did have this problem for a short period of time. It didnt work with some of the released versions of Opera but the Weekly Desktop Builds seem to stay as default just fine. I dont know if they have changed some coding or not but it works for me.
