  1. Actually, my own copy (98se retail) does not stop for confirming cd-key or whatever. All what I do is run a batch file to call smartdrv.exe and setup.exe, then go to bed.
  2. That's good. Thank you very much. I'll rely on it next timeZ.
  3. REBOOT=ReallySuppress is good enough.
  4. @prathapml I ordered a CD last Thursday. I haven't recieved it yet. Have you? @ravashaak This is what I'm afraid of, too.
  5. I do not think it has got a usable solution, yet.
  6. Plus, Scintilla Text Editor. It's free.
  7. No. But I will. It's not a personal preference when it comes to work, as home users still has the power to say No!
  8. And /c didn't?! So what should I throw away now?
  9. Never mind. A little advice: if you deal with scripts too much, use Scintilla Text Editor. It's free. It gets the lines numbered for you.
  10. @prathapml There are times where PCs are setup at customers' places using their own CDs. Who cares about their CD source, especially, everyone has the right to make a backup CD? And I believe you're right about that difference between OEM and retail CDs. @Bachus Thank you very much for sharing this. I'd be pleased if you say whether you tried it yourself.
  11. Delete the extra character in red. However, you're using the old JS. It's now developed. You can use the newest one in this post: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...ndpost&p=163957
  12. Strange! I'll try it again and again, then. Please try it again but from a batch. Thanks.
  13. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users = %AllUsersProfile% C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator = %UserProfile% You can replace those with these.
  14. /q works on lsetup.exe /c works on lusetup.exe
  15. Do you mean that those people have got illegal copies?
  16. @prathapml HUH?! Joking again. TARGETDIR is for AIP!!!! INSTALLDIR is for installation. So, replace TARGETDIR with INSTALLDIR. MAZIN
  17. One more note to safely have it working in all situations is to define the path to startup.cmd. For example, let the last line in startup.cmd be like the blue one below: You can use sleep or not according to your needs. This doesn't affect the deletion of startup.cmd itself, as you know. This MUST work in all circumstances, for sure!
  18. So far, most threads opened for this app have been either ambiguous or useless. And I think dorguy has all the right to ask for help. But he'd better join one of those open threads.
  19. Sure! Wish you good luck.
  20. Well! I voted to the third choice "Who needs it, I got Winamp". And I have got my personal preferences on how to install Winamp. I use my own MSI posted here when I want to install Winamp 5.03a. I use my own JScript script posted here when I want to install any version of Winamp. But I think your work should be necessary to other people, however. Thanks.
  21. @MHz This is strange really. I thought I was the only one having this problem. Now, I feel warm. Thanks. I hope someone knew a solution.
  22. Without extraction, run this command directly on the downloaded lusetup.exe: lusetup.exe /c This should install it silently. CHEERS! EDIT: Guide updated.
  23. And Win2003-to-workstation is automated, too. That's GREAT! Thank you for sharing.
  24. @Randy Rhoads This is fantastic, really. I haven't heard about that. I shall try this within a month from now!! However, there's a guide on this forum to turning Win2003 into a workstation. Can I still do that via your method? Thanks.
  25. I don't know why I feel like there are other properties' names that might work in place of these ones: ProductKey= Name= Org= Display= Or, there are other properties that must be added? This is why I was interested in your topic. Thanks.
