thanks alot... that is cool but i think i will point them to C and install xp on D at the end of the HD... that way is easier to manage the partitions, and making a ghost iamge of xp will be alot easier

try using driver magician on a windows copy with all drivers installed. then use the backup function then point nlite to that folder.

you only have to read the thread from msfn forum..
it tells you how to install grub into windows.. basicly you rename ntldr and replace it with the grub loader then put the xp with the renamed ntldr in the boot menu

im not sure u just raname and replace ntldr and put the other files in where they belong... it woulndt be possible todo with an installer anyway cus of replacing ntldr

look this topic: http://www.msfn.org/board/Multiboot-Vista-...ith-t95537.html
it would seem interesting to me, if this could be made an addon
i think it would be hard todo ... cus first you have to check if its the main os installed(maybe through boot.ini) if its not the main os you should not install grub(as described in the article)...
i think it would be an interesting and usefull addon..
and winflip would be cool to http://winflip.stylekings.de/

Whenever i install nivida drivers, all is good, then i reboot and still all is good.
Then i reboot again and my screen runs in 640x480x4 mode... i cannot set the mode ot higher cause it will just jump back to 640x480x4.
I have to install nvidia drivers again and then i can run in higher resolution...
I removed almost all services/components.. So is there anything i removed what is causing this.

Worst OS Ever?

Posted
Actually... XP is the best ever, you need to know how to use it. Also nLite makes this OS far better than it already is. And the worst os for me is vista... why not me? well cus alot of users actually use this system, and its a new os from ms, thats why its 10x worse than me, if you buy a laptop, you may get vista and cant goto xp cus of drivers issues... also vista just seems XP with more crap in it... some features actually sound usefull and well designed but most is just bloated crap i dont need, and doesnt even work.. If you think XP is exploited alot, so is vista, or any other OS even tho the new "Security" features vista has.
Linux is good and all, it runs smooth, i like the way how you can download/install packages. But its not really supported, driver issues, not many games run on it... not sure if there is a msn/wlm client that u can use cam with in linux... that sort of stuff, Still i found some bugs in Ubuntu.
highly nLitened XP is far best os for my personal preferences, and i never ran in trouble with viruses or anything.
