HI, Is there anyway to change the drives. I formatted computer and now the old D drive which was my second hdd which i put everything i wanted keep is now the C drive. and the D driver, formally the C drive is the HDD that windows was installed on. Is there any way to change that without reformatting both HDDs? Cheers, Jason

HI GUys, I just bought a new ASUS DRW-2014L1T lightscribe DVD burner and I am trying to install it on my Motherboard. But it's not working. I have done a fresh install of XP and not getting anywhere. The motherboard is a WinFast 760GXK8MC with two sata connectors. Is there anything special that I need to do? Cheers, Jason

No, the HDD is in an external USB case thing. I have no idea how to get to the secret partion to get to the drivers any ideas, and make them really simple i am really dumb LOL

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up a laptop for a friend, and she is giving me her old laptop harddrive, however I cannot get the drivers off the old hdd to put on the new harddrive, does anyone know how I can do it. Acer customer support were not interested in helping, they just kept saying it'll have to be reimaged and that has a cost associated to it. I would very much like to do it myself for free :-) thank for any help

HI teamsters, I have had trouble trying to get both computers to recognise eachother. Vista Home Premium desktop and XP Pro laptop. THe can't even see eachother, I have run the network wizard afew times with no luck. Any input would be appreciated, Jason

Hiya Team, Just incase anyone is interested. There is drivers for the X5150. But, they seem to be basic drivers. Spose thats better than nothing I guess.

I use soulseek and i can download by folder and by file. Maybe you need to reinstall soulseek. J

Hi Team, I am having a great deal of difficulty getting my network set up. So far I can only view and transfer data from my desktop (Vista Home Premium 32bit) to my Notebook (LG LW70-J3KA). When i view data from my Notebook that is on my Desktop I am asked for a username and a password. I enter these details in and everything is fine. However, when I try to view data on my notebook from my desktop I get asked for a user name and a password. This is where I run into trouble, says username and password are incorrect. :-( Any input will be much appreciated. Cheers, Jason

Hi Teamsters, I just bought a Sony Ericsson K800i and have just tried to install the software CD. It won't install the PC suite. Says not compat with OS. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium. Has anyone had the same problem, and did you find a solution, I would love to be able to use my new mobile phone to it's full capacity. Any input appreciated. Cheers, Jason

Hiya, Yeah mine does that too, sometimes the do not disconnect stays there for a few mins sometimes only a few seconds. I think it's just one of those unexplained things that happen.

I'm no computer geek and know little about Operating systems and whats different in each version. But, I will say this, I like Vista. I am only frustrated that Lexmark has not released drivers for my printer. Well thats my 2cents worth

Hiya, Thanks for responding. I can't see that there is a cord that needs to be connected to the soundcard. It happens on both TV Tuners, the usb one pulls in fantastic picture but, no sound. And the internal TV Tuner does the same thing. Both worked perfectly on XP Pro. I have attached pictures of the internal one, both sides. Just incase someone has the same one and can direct me to the appropriate website. Many thanks, J

Hi Teamsters, I have been trying to get my internal TV Tuner card to work but all I get is picture but no sound. it's a DVB-TV Sat/Sat-CI DVB-TV 2.431 Skymaster card. that's about all I can get from the Manual. I noticed that Vista downloads new drivers for it (DVB-TV 878) but everytime they install I get a bluescreen error. I have borrowed a USB TV Tuner and same deal, I get picture but no audio. Is anyone having the same problems? Any input would be most welcomed. Cheers, J

Hi Teamsters, I have a networking issue. I have Vista Home Premium on my desktop and can easily access my notebook which is running Home Basic. However when it comes to the otherway round. no go. I get an error msg saying check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network. (well duh)... then click diagnose. Has anyone had this problem. I had XP Home on my notebook prior to Home Bacis and I had no problems. Any input much appreciated. Cheers, J
