Sorry guys but i don't understand why the svcpack.inf, during installation is asking me to click on "continue" at this hotfix: KB893803 KB893803.exe /q /n /z and another hotfix (for windows media player) is doing the same thing, but it just notice that my system restore is turned off, but how can be that? o.O thanks for help!

a genuine one i ve to install the hotfix via svcpack because i wouldlike to install the net frameworks using the Silent .NET Maker who make a silent installer via svcpack. this is the second unattended windows cd that i made, and the first time (about 6 mounth ago) the svcpack method was working! so, i must made a big error, but i can't find it! LOL maybe i must install the hotfix in another way, and install the frameworks via runonceex thanks again ^^ p.s: i lost the source of the first unattended xp, so i m not able to compare the two source

i just tried i made a XPCD with only the hotfix and i tryed 3 times so i deleted the svcpack.in_ the folder with the hotfix is "SVCPACK" svcpack.inf i modifyed the dosnet.inf file adding: [OptionalSrcDirs] SVCPACK #first time: folder I386 with: [setupData] CatalogSubDir="\I386\SVCPACK" in the svcpack.inf #second time: folder I386 with: [setupData] CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK" in the svcpack.inf #third time: folder i386 with: [setupData] CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK" in the svcpack.inf O.o no one works thanks anyway Sonic

I can't understand why, but it just skip the install of the hotfix That's what i did: i deleted the svcpack.in_ the folder with the hotfix is "SVCPACK" Now this is my XPCD folder: And this are the files: winnt.sif svcpack.inf DOSNET.INF I tryed also renaming I386 ---> i386, and i changed this line in: CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK" in the file svcpack.inf but it didn't work Someone help my please!!!! eheh thanks so much ^^ p.s: sorry for the useless topic

hi, i got an error: winntbbu.dll is modifyed (not the original one) what i' ve done: 1) modifype winntbbu.dll 2) then i have modifyed the .dll 3) makecab winntbbu.dll did i miss something? i would like to integrate the Net Framework too, but i don't understan a thing: the last Net Framework (3.0) does integrate the other old version (1.1 and 2.0) or not? that because some application like the borland's suite requires the net framework 1.1 and i got the net framework 3.0 installed what i have tu put in the RunOnceEx file for integrate the last directx (released in december 2006) and the net framework? thanks so much, i m sorry for my bad english and i m sorry for the useless topic
