hi, I tried those settings before, but I wasn't able to get it to work properly. In my windows, I would normally have the first tab (Regional Options) set to English as normal. Then in thethe third tab (Advanced) is a "Language for non-Unicode programs" group which I would set to Japanese because I have a couple of programs needing Japanese support. In nlite, I set the "Language" group to Japanese, and also the"Custom" and "Localization" selection both to Japanese. However after the installation, the "Language for non-Unicode programs" was still set to English, while I had the first Set to Japanese and also a Japanese keyboard added to my input method! but I will try it again tomorrow and let you know the results.

There are about half a dozen programs called mydrivers. Which one do you use?

I see. The files says ; Generated by nLite 1.2 RC does that mean it will be overwritten by the program each time? when should I save the settings to it

there are some settings I have been unable to bypass the first dialogue I am presented with is for entering the username and organisation. Is there anywhere I can set this up so I don't have to enter it? after that, I have the network name, which is already filled in and the blank administrator password. It allows me to press next without entering anything more, but I cannot hide a completely

how would you strip out drivers from laptop installs? I have a Sony VAIO and they refuse to give me drivers so I can install a different language onto my laptop.

in the control panel item "regional and language settings" we can only set things in the first tab from nlite. there is an option in the advanced tab"language for non Unicode programs" This setting is very useful for people who use English windows but need to be able to support other language programs. Can this be set somehow from nlite?
